At the top of the hour and on the half hour this clock plays one of two alternating melodies: edelweiss or the happy Wanderer. The clock must be wound daily by pulling the chains. The sheep herder and waterwheel also move on the half-hour and hour.

Love this cuckoo clock. When my parents visited Germany they brought us back a cuckoo clock just like this but a bit smaller. We had a fire in our house and the cuckoo clock was destroyed so we were thrilled to find this one on line. The website says it uses batteries that are not included.
