Table is stunning! A little trouble getting it to snuggly close without the leaf, but we were able to fix that fairly easily. Photos are without leaf. Chairs are large, heavy, incredibly sturdy and rich looking. They took quite a while to assemble. For the time it took, I highly recommend paying extra to have the delivery guys do it and take the packaging. For the $ you save on the set, it would be worth it. Two of the chairs had some damage to the varnish in places that were too obvious to ignore. I sent photos and customer service sent two new chairs asap! I was told to pitch the other two, which I donated to a grateful shelter.
Bought this set for our dinette, but it's so beautiful I almost hate to use it! Moving to our formal dining room where it's much more appropriate.
