This 1-light outdoor post mount lantern head, featuring a craftsman-inspired silhouette, is highlighted by a black metal frame, and contrasting frosted white shade. Enhancing various architectural styles, providing light and creating visual interest too, this hardwired fixture is listed and rated for wet, outdoor use. When used with a base, it can be installed along a walkway, fence, deck, or even on a single pole. This light fixture requires one, E26 medium base, 60-watt light bulb that is sold separately, and not included. The base mount is sold separately (not included). There may be a minimal color or finish variation between the outdoor lantern head and base mount.

I love the fixture and it looks great. The best part is the translucent glass, which gives it a very nice look. The lamp is sturdy and the light bulb can be changed without removing the base. The wire with the fixture is long enough to easily connect to your existing pole wiring. The fixture came nicely packed with supplied wire nuts. Similar to the topper (which is shown in this picture but not included, although I made the mistake of purchasing that too), this post is a misrepresentation of the item shipped. The listing claims this is made of plastic (which you would think means vinyl). Nope... this is made of cheap, soft wood that is poorly sanded and has dents. The manufacturer could have used wood putty to fix the dents before painting, but did not. They also nail gunned the heck out of the post after they painted it so the post has small holes all around it. Again, they could have and should have used wood putty or another filler to conceal this. I included 3 photos just to show the poor quality of the "finished" work. At the price they are charging, I would expect a much higher quality product; specially since they are claiming this is made in the USA.
