Used these beautiful tiles to cover an outdoor pathway. Have received tons of compliments from everyone who passes by. The tile must be set over concrete for the additional support to hold up. We placed three tiles alongside eachother to form a 48" wide row and separated each row going back with red polished small pebbles to pick up the colors in the tiles. I would recommend no more than 2" between each row of pebbles, especially if you need to pull a wheelchair or any wheeling object along the path. Pros: Great and unique look, designer look, looks very expensive, was a great value, Cons: Need to see wear over time, must be careful with handling as they are not too thick. Seriously one of the best investments we made in our whole-home renovation. We have it as the back splash in our kitchen and it gives it such a warm earthy feel. It compliments the granite countertops and would go particularly well with anything copper (I found some vintage salt/pepper shakers!) The guys had an easy time installing as well and were impressed with the quality. I also ordered samples of almost all the colors they had and it was a really difficult decision because they were all so beautiful. Looks great! Quality is very sturdy. Great product for the price, compared to major retailers. The stone came mostly together, we unfortunately did have one of the pieces break before we even opened the box. This stone gives the illusion that the full tile is made of stone, when it is just the front face that is designed to look like stone. Even though it mimics the stone, it adds a great touch to our kitchen. This field tile no large veins or crystals and it is fine-grained. It is a sturdy example of the rustic, hardy materials that nature produces under the harsh conditions of slate formation.

I used this tile for the floor of my shower and love it! It has a natural slate look so the tile is a little uneven and purposefully not smooth... but it feels great on my feet and actually gives a tiny bit of grip so I don’t feel like I am going to slip in the shower.
