However, following other reviews and since it would be exposed all summer and possibly a rainy fall before I store it for winter, I treated it with a couple layers of teak oil. It still looks gorgeous after 3 weeks and I’m very happy with my purchase. I was eyeing some 1500-range teak tables on Wayfair that looked better in pictures, but decided on this one when I found it. I love this table. I use it in my dining room. It has small gaps nbetween the slats. I was afraid this might cause problems with drinks spilling but it hasn't.
