I bought an identical sectional from a competitor several years ago. Although I loved it, the chenille fabric easily snagged and started coming apart at the seams within a couple months. Between the splitting fabric and sinking stuffing after the support straps broke on the bottom, it had to be replaced within just four years. I missed the comfort and style of the original and decided to try purchasing more expensive version that seemed to be better quality. The fabric of this one is considerably more resilient, and there have been no issues during the first eight months of use. The comfort is comparable to my original one. I put it together by myself and it took me about an 1hr, set up was super easy! All the pieces are labeled with letters and the directions gave you pictures of which letters to connect to what. Overall super easy to put together the packaging was great it came in three big boxes and the cushions were vacuumed sealed tight! Once I cut the seal they puffed up immediately. I love how firm the couch is because I have had a 2 back surgeries and I need support. I love that each piece is individually wrapped and packaged. It made it easy to put together, although, you definitely need one other person to help you get the support latches locked into place. I have a Great Dane and even though she has short hair, she sheds like crazy. None of the dog hair has stuck to the couch. I am extremely happy with this fact! It seems easy to spot clean. It is sturdy and well made. Now, just imagine all that squished up furniture removed from the back and my custom made book shelves that will line each wall in this sitting area, that will contain m40K book! The sofa looks beautiful in the living room and is very comfortable to sit on. It sits four people very easily and is a nice spacious length to stretch out on while watching tv. The only thing I would change, is the back rest which would be more comfortable several inches higher. The description on site said it would be 28 inches high but is only 23 inches high.
