Beautiful lamp, nice black metal, much bigger in person than on photos, however the base is super small. I Had to replace with a different base as I couldn’t get it installed it otherwise. The light from it does disperse (vs hit the island directly on the bottom) so when you’re sitting down the light can be directly at eye level. The light itself is beautiful. Unfortunately, it arrived broken so I need to return. It is definitely heavy and feels like you’re holding a sink when taking it out of the box. The color definitely says that it is teal but in the picture showed a little more sage green, which is what I was hoping for, but it is definitely more blue glaze over what looks like a sage underneath.
