This would have been a FIVE star review if the sconces were less orange/gold. I called customer service to return one - it had a big black mark on it that could not be cleaned off. They told me they would send a new one and I could donate the marred one. Since I had nothing to lose, I went and bought several containers of metallic paints to paint over the existing color. Using a natural sponge, I was able to dab a lighter color champagne gold over the bright gold for the perfect effect.
