These stools are nicer in person. I was hesitant about the limed grey oak. In the picture, the limed stools look very distressed and antiqued but they are just right. They are light enough to move without effort but made well enough to hold up to everyday use. I do hope the seats hold up for a long time. They look great with my newly updated kitchen. They are the perfect "counter height". I am very happy with my purchase so far. They were much more than I wanted to pay for counter stools and I do hope they will last and be worth the price.. I am so happy with these barstools! I knew I wanted a sturdy stool with a back, and cushioned. These checked every box. I went back and forth on the color because we have dark wood floors with a red undertone and I wasn’t sure if the brown would clash. I think it looks great, though.
