Package was shipped well and arrived without damage. The product appears to be well-made feels well constructed, and appears to be solid wood. You can tell where certain sections are joined and there’s inconsistencies in the stain. I would’ve given this product five stars, however the top of the table is not flat where the leaf insert joins. It’s a small lip where one side of the leaf joins and the finishes additionally, worn and discolored some. Ok let's talk chairs! When using in a rental upholstery is a nightmare and solid would is so heavy. I wanted something with cushion, not bulky, easy to wipe off and would fit and move nicely in and out around the table. These are the chairs you want! Awesome that it comes pre-made already, so once you pull it out of the box, it’s ready to be used. Super easy to latchunlatch and extendcompress the bench. Both my partner and I sat on the bench while it was fully extended and it was very study. Although it was packaged pretty well, my item still came damaged on the bottom. The assembly instructions don’t tell you how to insert the gold pieces, so I’m sharing the trick here. You won’t be able to push in the gold pieces with your fingers and the holes will seem too small, but the pieces will fit - you have to use a mallet. Tilt the piece and use your mallet to gently tap in one edge of the piece so that it lodges crookedly in the hole.
