It is a beautiful table and well made, but the color is a cream. If you are looking for a pure white table, then this one is not for you. It was pretty easy to put together with the chairs taking the longest. There is a distinct line in the table where the leaf is stored. It’s not a total smooth surface. This set is beautiful, a perfect size for my space. It is as pictured. The cherry finish is not overly “ red”. Matches my cabinetry very well. Solid feeling set, chain/ gears for the expansion leaf. There was a small nick in table edge, should cover easily. There was a scratch , maybe just in the varnish, of the pedestal base, won’t easily be seen. This dining set is amazing. The wood is heavy and solid which means it will last! The chairs are a great height - my husband is 6' and says they are perfect.
