Printable Halloween Book Covers

Creepy Halloween book covers make a haunting reading nook.

Size : 6.25" x 9.25" – 1" spine

Supplies:

  • 8.5" x 11" Computer Paper or Craft Paper
  • Color Printer
  • Scissors
  • Tape & Double-Sided Tape

Instructions:

1) Download the front, back and inside flaps of our creepy Halloween book covers: Dry Spell, Monster or Misunderstood, and Under Wraps.

2) Fill your printer with 8.5" x 11" computer or craft paper. Use plain white paper or beige paper to make your Halloween book covers look like ancient tomes.

3) After printing the Halloween book covers, cut around the perimeter of the front, back and side flaps.

4) Take the front and back covers and flip them over so that the left-hand side of the front cover is touching the right-hand side of the back cover. Apply a thin strip of double-sided tape along the inside of the front cover. Apply a layer of single-sided tape over the backside of the back cover to secure the spine of your new book cover.

5) Place one side flap next to the right-hand side of the front cover. Apply a thin trip of double-sided tape to the inside of your front cover. Carefully place the inside flap over the double-sided tape and secure with a strip of single-sided tape. Repeat process for the back cover.

6) Place your creepy Halloween book cover on a 6.25" x 9.25" book and make creases along the inside flaps to secure the cover.

Tip! The paper weight will impact the sturdiness of your book covers. For sturdier covers use craft paper, but avoid cardstock because it is not malleable enough to fold onto the inside of books.
