DIY Hanukkah Decor Ideas

From a pretty garland to a washi tape wrapping trick, we've gathered these fun, festive ideas.

While navy, silver, and white will always be classic Hanukkah colors, this year we're loving muted pastels for a lighter look.

The combo of pale hues and soft eucalyptus branches give this mantel a bright feel. Keep reading to learn how to recreate this pretty setup with our three easy DIYs.

Cute Wall Decorations

How-To Dreidel Garland: Cut dreidels out of cardstock (two of each color for one dreidel). Cut down the center of each dreidel, stopping in the middle (one cutting from the top, one cutting from the bottom). Slide them onto each other and secure with tape.

How-To Star of David Hanging: Cut 6 branches (real or faux) to the same size. Hot glue them together to form two triangles. Hot glue the triangles together. Wrap corners with twine for accent. Use floral wire to secure eucalyptus to the branches.

Numbered Wrapped Presents

Wrap all presents with butcher paper for a solid base layer. Then, create candles with colorful, patterned washi tape. Cut the flames out of washi tape or construction paper.

For a fun twist, align the number of candles on each present with the night it should be opened.
