Jello Juice

April fools day at our house is always fun. We try to play friendly pranks on the kids for this fun holiday. Nothing harmful or mean, just plain fun we all can laugh at later. Here are some fun pranks we play on our kids on April Fools Day.

This takes a little planning, but it's so much fun to see the looks on their faces when they try to drink this solid juice. Take 1 cup of juice dissolve 1 tablespoon of gelatin and heat on the stove just until boiling. Next pour the juice into glasses and insert straw. Place in fridge until the next morning. When your child asks for juice pull this out and watch them try to drink. Once they figure it out it's not juice they can have homemade jello as a treat!

Giant Egg

My kids love eggs for breakfast. Serve them an ostrich egg instead! Spread plain yogurt on a dish and place a half a peach in the middle. Set the "egg" in front of them and watch their faces when they see the large egg they have to eat. My son just loved this one!

Frozen Cereal

If your child likes cereal in the morning, plan ahead a little for this one, too. Simply make a bowl of cereal the night before and place it in the freezer overnight.

When your child asks for cereal, make pretend sounds like you're making a bowl of cereal and pull the frozen one out instead.

To catch the kids off guard, we like to play the pranks first thing in the morning. I'm sure these fun pranks will provide many smiles and giggles around your breakfast table. Remember to keep it fun and silly to provide many laughs. They will enjoy telling all their friends what fun jokes you played on them that morning.
