If your home lacks a dedicated room for your wash-dry-fold routine, revamp your space with a few additions to make a laundry room anywhere. Upgrade the area around your existing machines or carve out a spot for new appliances with one of these smart combinations.
In the Bathroom: Add Shelves and a Shower Curtain
If your washer and dryer are installed in the bathroom, hang a decorative shower curtain in front of the machines to separate the area, then add wall shelves above for supplies. And to easily air-dry pieces, opt for a shelf with a built-in hanging bar.
In the Basement: Add a Bookcase and Console Table
