Best Wall Paneling With Reviews

I love the look of these bamboo panels on the wall. Each panel weighs around 15 lbs. It has a thin cotton cloth that is attached to the back that holds it together. Bamboo is tough to cut through without splintering, so doing the edges and spaces for outlets was very time consuming with snips. If you are not good with math and have alot of cuts to do, you may want to have this professionally done. I am going to need to get one more for completion prior to starting on the borders. This was done over what was going to be a mural, but I fell in love with the look of these! For installation, I used spray adhesive directly on the perimeter of the wall only on the part that was getting the panel. When that was tacky, I then used plain Liquid Nails as an adhesive again applied directly to the wall all over the part to be paneled, then placed the cut bamboo panel onto the adhesive by lining up the side and bottom to the appropriate places. It stays up that way on its own while drying. I then took a rag and while making sure the cut ends matched up to the angles that it was cut for, smoothed it out to adhere to glue underneath, from left to right, working from the bottom to top. Then repeated that process for the top half. They layer well together. I got a few small splinters while cutting these, so you may want to use gloves. I am very pleased with the way they came out so far, and it would be much easier to do if you have 2 people for installation. I have found them to be quite durable for this indoor wall application, and it definitely is very pretty in person. It has a "breezy" and light look to it that can match my ever changing decor, which I appreciate.

After looking at so many options to create an accent wall behind our TV, we found this amazing product! Easy to install (just need a table saw to cut the pieces and liquid nails). We put a natural stain on after & it really popped the flection of the wood, along with the textured look. I installed track lighting to highlight the wall as well to add that wow factor. Would advise staggering the pieces along the wall to hide the seems as much as possible, we did this and for the most part can't see any of them. I would highly recommend this product!

We love it! We spent 30 mins sorting each box in to 9 piles. then it took us about 10 hours to complete the wall (the longest was the first 3 or 4 rows as we cut around the vent and socket but then it was easy. You do have to swap out pieces and try a few to get the best fit each time. My husband and i are novice at doing this and so long as you take your time, you can do it. The instructions were good....mark out your stud lines first and also use a nail gun. We didn't paint the wall behind black, but each time we put a piece of wood up we looked to see if we needed to do any paintning behind the joins or holes and then just dabbed the wall in those areas - however we did miss a few joins that we didn't see until we shone the light directly on it as we finished off as it was getting dark. When you buy a few boxes you should spend 30 mins sorting the wood near to your project in to 9 piles. The wood comes in 3 widths and 3 lengths eg we called them wide, medium and narrow. Each width also comes in 3 lengths, small, medium and long (hence 9 piles) so that as you are building as you go you can reach for a wide long piece and they are all together so you can try a few. Our space was 12ft 10in by 8ft.

I had looked at wall tiles for days on various sites and found this one. It happened to be on sale which was a bonus. It offered a rustic look and was boat wood so I could add some paint to it for a little more customization. The tiles arrived in a box with packing material only on top, but it was all in tact. I love the varied shades of wood and the mosaic pattern. I mistakenly thought this was a peel and stick (after viewing so many) and when it arrived without that, it was on me. My plan was to use these to a make a unique headboard for my bed. After realizing there was no peel and stick option, I tried to mount this to wood backing with wood screws instead of nails. None of the screws I tried would penetrate the wood. I was afraid to force it since the small pieces of wood making up the mosaic seemed like they would split. I have to come up with a different plan on how to assemble these but really like the product itself. The brown, white, tan, and gray that show in the pictures are true to color and there is even a little black in a few sections. A utility knife cut the sections apart without any trouble. However, when I split one square in half, it didn't line up evenly with the other whole sections. I whittled down the sides of the split unit for a closer fit. I really like the product but will have to give some more thought to my project and find something that will allow mounting.

This looks amazing in my guest bath reno. It is so easy to work with, easy to cut, easy to install, and looks way more interesting than plain tile. I used it on the vanity surround, and I am planning to experiment with the bathtub surround, because plain tile will look, well, plain. It is not recommended for use in wet places (though it is water resistent), but it is used in a guest bath that is seldom used. So I'll take a chance. I can always change it if it doesn't work out. With tile it would be much harder to make a change once it is installed. I also ordered the j-trim and the corner moldings and they really set it off.

I ordered this to put behind shelves in my 32 yo home. It had paneling in the LR and one of the BRs. I painted all the paneling, which was a JOB in itself, so I didn't want to have to fool with painting behind the shelves and the price of lumber did not allow me to build new shelves. The current shelves are in decent shape, so I looked and looked for something that would work behind them and hid the paneling. This stuff STICKS, let me tell you, it is NOT coming down, lol. While it is not perfectly aligned, it works for my situation. It is too easy to cut, my shelves were 9 3/8" x 6' long & 12" x 6', I ordered one roll (they come in sheets) and I have a good bit left over, I chose the brown, which is more of a copper color, b/c I felt like it would blend in better w/mistakes against the brown paneling, and the shelves are made out of the old school Ponderosa Pine, I am pleased with it. This house is OLD, so I had a landline and electrical outlet plate under the bottom shelf, plus shelf supports I had to cut around, but it was relatively easy using a well-marked measuring tape; however, as I said, it STICKS, and once up, it is not easy to navigate, so you have to be careful and have good light if your lighting is not great when applying. I am pleased with my choice.

Worth the effort! It was simple but not easy. I redid one wall in my basement with this tile. I love how it came out. I had to do some math to make sure I started in the right spot to minimize partial cuts. It was easy to cut the tiles with good sewing shears. I used liquid nails and put a small bead all around the perimeter and on all the backside “peaks” that would touch the wall. It worked great and once I got in a rhythm I was putting up a 4 tile column in about 30 minutes. I used one tube of liquid nails for every 3-4 tiles. I also had to order outlet extenders to get the plugs to fit with the raised wavy wall. I put up a TV mount and decided to just attach it right over the tiles instead of cutting the tile to make the mount flush with the wall. It worked great and I am glad I chose that route. I highly recommend this product to make a fantastic, show stopping wall with a little above average effort.

I bought the antique.... It turned out absolutely beautiful!! the sizing is a little awkward when purchasing. It is 3 ft tall by 2 ft across. This will help you when calculating. I had to make a couple of orders because of this mistake. LOL another trick we did when installing it because of the metal bldg and drywall attachment issue was we liquid nail glued it to the walls. We also put some mall tacking nails on the seems etc. Anyway, it's a little pricy but you won't regret it!!! We put it in our church fellowship hall.

This is beautiful! I used it as a backslash in my kitchen. Ive needed something on my walls for the longest but nothing really looked right. I saw this and decided to try it. It exceeded all my expectations!! It works well with my granite countertops and I love the old wood look! It does not have any adhesive so you will have to purchase tile glue. It looks great if you stagger the tiles and alternate between the different color patterns. You will not be sorry with this purchase. If it looks this good as a backslash or accent wall, Im sure using it as flooring would be stunning!!

These look like the real thing. We are slowly remodeling our kitchen, and the stove arrived early. We installed these peel and stick tiles to cover the bare wall until we get cabinets and tile, and they look great. Problem solved. People notice and compliment their appearance, not knowing they are plastic. Theyve been behind the stove for a year and have stayed firmly attached to the painted and textured surface of the wall. I would definitely purchase them again if needed.

I absolutely loved how this turned out. It’s not too shiny and easy to wipe down. It adds a very unique look to a kitchen. I wanted something different than a regular subway tile and this really makes a statement. Not too bold, but elegant. Love it. The box doesn’t come with enough trim so I went to Home Depot and bought some plastic strips that matched well. Easier to use than the steel because they are easier to cut.

There are so many designs, that it would be easy to find something for your home. Even though this is a wall tile, I think it can be also used as a ceiling tile. I have a spare room that I've been wanting to make into a kind of sitting room for myself. I recently painted the walls and added a chair and bed. I decided that this was the room I was going to use these tiles and do one accent wall. I am over 50, and anyone can install these tiles. They are very light and easy to hold. I put these in by myself. They come with clear instructions for installing and I also had the adhesive for installing. The hardest part was determining the center of the wall, since I've never even thought of doing this myself before. Once that was accomplished, I started putting the tile up. All it takes is a spot of adhesive in various places on the tile. I think I had about 12 spots, quarter size, on each tile, more or less. I probably didn't need that much. There are arrows on the back of the tile, so just make sure you have all the arrows pointing the same direction, and the tile will line up perfectly with the previous piece. When I came to an outlet, or something that needed cut out, I just marked it lightly with a pencil and used a utility knife to cut out. Since it's just styrofoam, it was the easiest thing I've cut, that had to do with remodeling. In no time at all, I had it all done. The sheets are 2 foot by 2 foot, so you can make a lot of progress in a short time. I used the adhesive in any cracks to make it smooth, and it cleans up with water, so I just used a wet cloth to wipe off the excess. I'm not sure if I will paint it yet, but it is paintable. I'm rather enjoying the brightness of the room with the white panels. I even had a couple pieces left from cutting and I used these in a closet ceiling and down on the wall to make it brighter inside the closet. Even though this is a styrofoam product, it is smooth and somewhat sturdy. It will dent easily, so I won't have any kids in this room, because, you know, kids can be quite curious and destructive. The panels actually have made the room much quieter, since it's near a road, and I'm thinking better insulated. I have been looking at the website for other designs, because I'm thinking about putting new ceiling in my dining room. Don't hesitate on getting these ceiling or wall tiles. They are quality material, easy to install and look fantastic when you are done. The best thing is that you can install yourself, without the need of hiring someone to do it. Pros: Lightweight, various designs to pick from, easy to install, little to no mess Cons: can be easily damaged, but you just have to be careful when installing.
