We own the Train humidifier. It was a gift from my Mom for my son as a baby. He is now 4 and Nana still LOVES the design and it's still 'chugging along' (train joke machine is quiet) same as out of the box! We use it primarily in the winter. Appreciate the size of the tank to allow for all night use without refilling; and get tickled that the steam comes out of the stack. Easy to clean. I'm due with a baby girl in October and Crane is the only brand I looked at for a humidifier for her room. Leaning towards the Elephant! The Train is by far the coolest though. Wish there was an equally cool counterpart in a more girly design. The animals are all adorable; but still animals. 100% recommend this brand to friends and family!

We have own a crane humidifier for over a decade since our oldest kid was born. During Winter, when the heat is on, the humidifier has been helpful in providing much needed moisture to relieve our dry throats. When our kids got sick and stuffy the humidifier help them sleep better at nights by clearing their nasal passage. When seasonal allergies come around the humidifier also helps alleviate some of the sneezing and tickling cough in the household. Over the decade we have gone through two humidifier, an elephant when our kids were younger and then the cool mist drop model. You can’t go wrong with any model because you can control how much mist comes out, the direction of the mist via the nozzle and it auto shuts off when it runs out of water. We refill the tank daily and have it on all night all. Once a week we soak the tank and the base in vinegar water to remove any deposits. When we are not using it long term we clean and let all parts dry before storage. This humidifier is a work horse and will last many years.

I had this on my registry before my daughter was born because I knew I would be needing a humidifier. My daughter is now 4 years old and this thing has got us through sick nights and days, and numerous bloody noses! (We have dry weather in the heat) and the Dr recommend we turn it on for her when she sleeps to help her air passage way stay moist. Not only did I like the design but how easy it is to clean. I was nervous to use it because I didn’t want to break it or put water the wrong way but after seeing my husband do it one time I have done it myself ever since! I would definitely recommend this to new moms or expecting to put on their registry. Also anyone who is looking for a good sturdy humidifier, 4 years and going!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great humidifier. First, it is quiet. Even on high power it makes a nice hum, not annoying at all. On low you barely even notice the sound. It is easy to fill the water reservoir; just lift straight up, take it to the sink and fill it, and place it back on. I love the variable settings. There is an internal humidistat that detects humidity levels in the room. SO if I have it set at 50% humidity, the humidifier detects the levels and automatically shuts off--and back on--as needed to keep the level constant. There is also an auto run option to run it continuously. If all these options scare you...stop. It's so easy to use, my 4 year old adjusted the level :) The one things that would be nice is if vornado included an extra wick in the box. The wick does need replaced (the book recommends replacing at 4-8 weeks) and the humidifier comes with one, but selling it with an extra in the box would be a nice touch. One more thing...this is the prettiest humidifier! It's modern looking and does not take up a lot of space. the water reservoir is clear and looks really sleek.

For what it is worth I am happy with this but with some caveats that may be more related to my water quality then the device itself hence the 5 stars I gave. Understand I had the same evaporative type device up in the northeast a decade ago and now that I am in the southeast I am surprised that the city water in both regions has the hardness and mineral content that stains the wicks for these. Continuing on, and with that said I am sure distilled water is the way to go but I can’t imagine purchasing and hauling gallons of water from the store to my home every week. Keep in mind these wicks dry out on the ends that are not submerged. Just to be fair I think semi daily maintenance is the only way to subvert the issues of grimy water, mineral deposits on the wicks, and slime buildup on the interior surfaces. Only thing is that is a lot if work to achieve moist air. Eventually after 3 weeks of ownership and nasty looking wicks I have cleaned the unit, replaced the wicks, and added my own charcoal ‘activated’ filters in front of the wicks in an attempt to have cleaner wicks and water. But to the question of “does it work?”, well yes! In a large room with low not extreme outdoor humidity this unit will maintain around 52% humidity. Don’t open the door to the room or performance decreases of course. Extremely low temps during the colder and driest winter this year this thing doesn’t really keep up beyond 40%. Now going forward I plan to use this humidifier with the bedroom door closed overnight and once awake in the morning I will refill the unit adding a 1/4 cup of vinegar but will not run it until 12 hours later at sleep time. Each week I will rinse it or clean it.

I bought one of these for my office & was so satisfied that I bought a 2nd one to use at home. The one at home I use in the living room until I go to bed at night & then move it near my bed. It has helped so much with my allergies. I am normally dealing with my eyes & nose running & losing my voice almost every day at work. I can promise you if you purchase this humidifier you won’t be disappointed. Thank you, KOM

I used this for my daughter's room and it's a great size and super easy to use. It's smaller than the Crane Adorable humidifiers and it's just as effective. I can direct the mist towards her bed and since it is small, I can put it right next to her bed. The down side, I have to fill it up every night. The up side, it's not heavy to carry from the bathroom to her room. (My backstory is: I broke the Crane Adorable Penguin humidifier because the container slipped from hands after filling it up and cracked the container after dropping it when putting it back on the unit.)

I don't know if you have ever had a humidifier like the Pure Guardian if you haven't I strongly recommend this one. The extension arm is amazing, the air mist circulates though out the room easily and the technology is really easy to comprehend, even for a senior like me. Super efficient.

As long as you purchase the 1A calcium filter (extra) you will be happy with this unit for one medium size room. Otherwise like many other ultrasonic humidifiers you will have white calcium powder on the furniture and the windows. The filter really helps if you change it once a month. Strange that Wayfair doesn't even mention this filter that is made by Guardian which, in my opinion, is absolutely necessary, especially if you use regular tap water.

This past winter was so long and cold, that I had to have five room humidifiers going at the same time to get the house humidity up to a comfortable percent level. This model has turned out to be a real Work Horse for its size. It fills easily and looks great and is perfectly quiet. I really recommend it.

Ok hear me out… After you figure out the right size water bottle to use, after you figure out the right amount of water to use, this thing works great! Don’t use a standard size bottle of water, get that next bigger size. Don’t use the bottle of water full, that won’t work. Larger 1liter bottle filled about half way, make sure to push the stopper in fully to create the seal. Sounds like a lot…it was trial and error. Figured it out, now it’s so easy to use. I use bottled water and just fill the 1L bottle half way any time I need to use it. I use it almost every day!

I haven't used my humidifier yet, but based on the reviews, I am looking forward to using it tonight. My only concern is the pictures featured of the humidifier seem to show filling the water reservoir from the faucet. I knew from researching humidifiers that this didn't seem plausible. Lo & behold! The manual recommends distilled water. I would highly recommend the manufacturer correct this.

Love these humidifiers. I've bought 3 of the 2 Gal ones and this 1.5 Gal for my son's room. He has asthma and this works great for the dry winter air. I use the 2 Gal every night, while sleeping. I bought one as a gift and I use one for my Chameleons cage. They need a very humid, temp-controlled environment and this works way better than the humidifiers they market for terrariums. It's super quiet, holds a lot of water, lasts long between fillings, super easy to fill without moving it, has a pretty blue night light, and best of all...it rarely needs to be cleaned. I've had my first for about 6 months and still hasn't needed a cleaning. FYI.. Keep in mind, when using essential oils in the tray, A LOT of those oils are toxic to most pets. Do your research..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this and thought it was just a humidifier and I really needed one well it's not just a humidifier it has so many other cool things tou can do with it and it also fits a gallon of water so you dont have to keep filling it over and over again it has lasted a few days if you dont have it on high all the time it also has a cool feature that you can use aroma therapy oils in it and makes the whole room smell absolutely amazing and it also has color changing lights which is soooo cool I mean it's a night light that you can choose one color for the whole night or you can have it change from red to blue green yellow and purple so really if your looking for an amazing product that doesnt just do one thing but three I would definitely go for the one my kids love it which is cool too so I don't have to get a night light for there room... I hope that this review helps you decide if I were you I'd go for it cause i definitely don't regret it!!!

I love this humidifier I keep it in my utility room where my house plants are kept it keeps my plants from drying out. Pros: it automaticly shuts off when water runs out lasts along time easy to fill. Cons: no complaints well worth the money

It has alternating light features 7 colors' night light, Orange, red,3 shades of purple, blue, and green. Also, with the digital screen, you can pick a time for the humidifier to start, and the desired humidity rate (5 levels of Adjustable mist. The night light illuminates the entire room just right - it's not too bright, yet visible. I love how it displays the temperature and humidity level in the room. on top of the humidifier, it swivels to direct mist any direction. The large water jug holds up to 0.7 gallons and runs for 22 Hours. You; simply fill and add your oils (optional) and let the humidifier do its job. The unit is quiet. Simply to operate. it's also great for aromatherapy it's an oil diffuser as well. My Children and I enjoy our sleep with a different scent ever knight, and they love the night light. It was simple for me to operate. Cleaning has been easy only thing is if build up gets caught in small areas it might be a bit difficult to clean. This humidifier is so quiet you don't hear it. There isn't the dry feeling it the room, it adds enough moisture to the air that I have stopped coughing and my eyes stopped watering trying to add moisture with the dry air. Pros: Easy to fill and little or no maintenance. Very quiet Cons: A little heavy when you fill it and try to put it back in place, but I started using rubber gloves to give me better grip.Easy

So far I noticed a difference immediately. I have always had allergy issues (not bad enough for daily meds) and noticed my office was too dry for me. I have had two humidifiers in the office which both have broken down. I was sick of buying ones that plug in or require batteries. This is perfect! I can see if you don’t have bad sinusallergy issues how you might not know if it’s working or not. I’m going to is the small one at home for when one of us is sick for at night. We don’t need it daily at home since we have April air with our furnace! Highly recommend this product and hope it keeps working!

I bought a dual tank 4 years ago and it's been fantastic through the dry winter months. I also purchased a small Air Innovations unit for the bedroom but that only lasted for 2 years before it started to leak water all over the floor. There wasn't a leak in the tank, I think the mechanism was sticking so it flooded the unit. Because everything is closed due to Covid-19 shutdown I couldn't take it anywhere to see if it could be repaired so I decided to purchase this single tank unit with the tower which I prefer. So far I am very pleased with this humidifier and I would recommend.
