This tub is very large and deep. The drain is high enough to get completely covered and it is long enough to lay all the way back. The material is some kind of stone so it is very heavy to move and get in place. This also gives it a cool stone feel when you’re in it. It comes in a crate and its 300 pounds so beware. I paid for the delivery service and it was no problem although the men visibly struggled to get it into my bedroom. My master is on the first floor. I couldnt imagine trying to get it up an interior stairway. Ive read some other reviews that complain of it not retaining heat. My experience is the opposite. This is so luxurious! I couldn’t have picked better! I was making a wet room. While it is a large bathroom, the size of the wet room was not huge. I really liked the idea of a freestanding tub, and came across this beauty. And because it has the straight side, you don’t have to clean behind it. As you can see, it is easy to get to the sides and the floor and walls for cleaning. It is so deep and wide, I’m glad I purchased an in-line hot water heater. When I sit straight up in it, the water comes almost to my armpits. I am only 5’1”. The sides are perfectly slanted. Because of my height, I have difficulty lying in it without bracing my feet. I can lay my head back and just float! Some other tubs I considered didn’t have nearly the depth and holding capacity. Obviously, I highly recommend! The price was reasonable as well. Woodbridge 59" Freestanding Bathtub Contemporary Soaking Tub B-0083, With Deck Mounted Faucet

THIS tub replaced one of those horrible, huge, tubs with all the jets that builders put in homes in the 1990s. I gutted my master bath and more than doubled the size of my shower, and had this beauty installed. I wish I had considered the placement of the freestanding water faucet while the plumber was in the deep hole he had to dig to move pipes around....I placed the tub with the little lip under the faucet so some water splatters on the wall.......that was MY mistake so just a suggestion for when you put your tub in. I am used to one of the type tubs that goes in a corner with wall on 3 sides..........long and low. THIS is short and deep. Perfect soaking tub. I am 5'1 so I actually can sit and extend my legs straight out but anyone taller will have their knees up. Even so, a little water comes up on your body giving you an amazing soak. Only 4 stars because we have never used the tub to actually take a bath. Chose this size and shape during the remodel of our master bath and it worked really well in the space, which previously had a corner garden tub. Plumber had an easy time getting it in and it’s genuinely heavy enough that it doesn’t wobble or move at all. We are so impressed with this tub. Our bathroom is very small, and this is one of the only freestanding tubs we found that actually fits the space without feeling cramped. Even with its compact footprint, it’s deep and surprisingly comfortable for soaking.
