Best Small Console Tables With Reviews

I absolutely LOVE this unique console table. Perfect colour match to my tv/shelving unit in my living room. I would have preferred to give this table a 5 star review; however, as in many other reviews stated, very frustrated when putting the table together. A power drill was needed to attach the legs which was not too bad - it was attaching the table top to the base. I had to remove a couple of wooden pegs before the top would line up. There is a bigger gap on one side of the drawer so you can see the track. I still LOVE it even with some of the issues. It would be great if the company could look into some of the issues and make the little changes required to make the assembly process much better ! Thank You !

I have the coffee table so I wanted to get the console table to match! It arrived in nice packaging and looked great. I gave it 4 stars because the screw to one of the legs wasn’t secured well and fell out when I was putting it together. When I reapplied the screw to the leg, it kept falling out or was turning in place and wasn’t connecting to the table at all. I had to use superglue to make sure the nail was held in place in the leg. Finally it worked and the rest was easy! Overall I love the look and its nicely made, just had a little hiccup on the leg.

Very sturdy table, heavier than I thought it would be. I purchased the French Gray but It is much darker and looks more like the barn blue color. The tags on it did say French Gray. In the pictures the French Gray looks like it has some gold tones in it, my table is more a dull blue gray color. That is a little disappointing. It was easy to put together. I do see one little scratch in the front so I may need to see if J&M can send me a little touch up paint, very small scratch. I haven't put it in my entryway yet this pic is in my great room. The picture actually looks lighter so maybe it is looking darker next to my dark furniture?? The table I really wanted was out of stock for months so this was my second choice. Two days after this one was delivered the other one came back in stock - a little annoying but I think I will be perfectly happy with this one.

LOVE! I was looking for a media console but all of the ones I came across were either bulky, too low or had closed shelving (doors). I wanted a console that wouldnt take up much room and would flow with my living space, keeping it airy, minimal and not over crowded. I purchased two of the Carolina 42 Console Tables and pushed them together so that I could display plants, art books and my Lego sets once I finish them. The console was easy to assemble, its sturdy and the glass shelving is strong enough to hold heavy books. I wouldnt place a TV on it but I do suggest mounting a flat screen on the wall above the consoles is ideal. Lastly, the finish of the console is a shiny, metallic silver. It doesnt get smudged easily which is a plus. As for dust or dander on the glass (I have dogs), I purchased an air filter and that helps a LOT so I dont have to sweep or dust all the time. Update: Im happy I uploaded these photos with my pup. She passed away and her images lives on via Wayfair :)

Love this table so so so much will be buying another one and now both my daughters want one for their home as well . handsome piece. perfect dimensions for a small entryway. very difficult to find. the first one I received had cracked legs. it was difficult to get remplacement unit ( because of fed ex worst carrier). lost a week : lots of delivery and pick ups. finally got remplacement unit with a lot of imperfections. quick resolution with manufacturer and Wayfair. satisfied with solution but would have preferred a perfect table. it was well packaged and easy to assemble ( screw in legs) takes about five minutes . for a table that price, I was expecting something more solid. the top is solid , but the legs not so much. if you open the drawers, it shakes. if you move it a bit or drop something on top ( as expected since in entryway) , it shakes. the manufacturer should work on solidifying the legs... it is not a cheap piece of furniture. because of all this, i gave a 4 stars instead of 5. still a handsome piece. exceptional service by Wayfair , unfortunately horrible service from fed ex. worst carrier ever.

I still have a lot of decor to add to complete the look in my entryway but I love the look of this table! I initially wanted a more glam style and straight legs but settled for this so I can move on with trying to complete the ever growing list of decor projects. I specifically wanted multiple drawers. One for mail and one for my husband! I plan to add two ottomans, a rug, vases and wall art! Assembly was super easy! Literally only had to screw the legs on then flip it over! Seems sturdy too! Can’t wait to finish the design! I love my table.

Perfect for our small narrow entry hallway. Only 8in in depth so very slender and not overwhelming. Mirror top finish was a nice surprise as you can’t really see it in the advertising photos. Overall we are pleased, but make note the finish is a matte painted gold NOT brass, and it scratches easily so assemble on a rugblankettowel to avoid wrecking it. Assembly is very easy (allen key, pre-drilled holes). The thickness of the metal frame also looks more slim in the ad photos, it’s a little bit heftier in real life.

I just put it together last night. The table was packed well and arrived without any damage. It was simple and quick to put together...took longer to unwrap the packing material than to attach the legs. The 4 legs and corners had matching labels making it foolproof to match the legs to the appropriate corner. It came with a heavy-duty allen- wrench to fit the bolts. The bolts, washers, and allen-wrench were loose in the box, so be careful opening it so you don't lose any of them. The instructions were clear but you wouldn't even need instructions to put it together, it is so simple. It feels like a solid piece of furniture and the wood is beautiful. My cats have already declared it their throne so I may have to wrestle with them to actually put anything on top of it (they'll probably just bat stuff off into the floor anyway - Oh, well! Maybe I can interest them in the box it came in instead)

Better than expected. There are multiple sizes and multiple finishes.  I wanted a sofa table in a bronze finish to match my light fixture ( This console is more of a soft black - It works for me, no complaints ).  I wanted something inexpensive, long, and narrow.  This brand has a 55"Lx10Dx29H console/sofa table but, I wanted longer, so I purchased two - 36Lx10Dx30"H and placed them side by side to give me 72" length.  I love it!  With two of them, it's the length and depth I wanted. With the glass shelves, it's light and airy.  The thick band around the top matches the thick band around the base of my light fixture.  The quality isn't amazing. When I adjusted the adjustable feet (on arrival), to stop the wobbling, dirt, or rust fell out at each turn.  I'm going to try to find a wax paste to slow down the rusting of the pieces (Everything that is not made for outdoors rusts when you live on or near the water). I would recommend them.

I love my table and it is just as described. My only issue was with delivery as I waited at home on the designated day even though it was not necessary for me to be there - only for the driver to report it was undeliverable. When I followed up with FedEx they gave me two versions: 1) Wayfair had changed the address label and 2) the place of business was closed even though it was being delivered to a private residents. Delivery was finally squared away with help from a representative from Wayfair however I will be less inclined to order knowing delivery cannot be counted on.

I bought the white version of the console table. I'm using it as a computer stand between my desk and the wall. It's just the right size for my machine to sit on the top shelf and the power brick is on the lower shelf, plus I have some room for odds and ends. It seems a shame that it's not entirely in view, but the console is quite sturdy for my needs and puts my computer at a good height, just a few inches lower than the desk but reachable for USB plugs, etc. I considered putting this in the master bathroom for decor, so at some point I might buy a second one.

I really love this as an end table for the couch in our living room. It’s a very narrow space, which made options minimal for a table. I had actually saved this for a different area of the house, but realized it was narrow enough to fit the space between the couch and the entryway to the dining room. It is very pretty, and provides a minimalist farmhouse aesthetic. It is pretty lightweight and is not very sturdy on carpet, which is why I only gave four stars. If it was a bit heavier, and not as easily tipped over, I would see no flaws with the table. Even so, I have no intentions on returning the table as we have secured the bottom shelf to our floor lamp.

This table looks great when assembled. There is an issue with the instructions that relates to attaching the top piece. If the back panel is put in place upside down (and its easy to do this accidentally) the cam locks at the back cant be sealed. The trouble is that in order to fix this mistake once its realized, you either have to take the whole thing apart or leave two cam locks unlocked. I took the latter route, there are about four other locks to hold the top in place and the table isnt that large, I just have to remember not to lift it by the top piece when moving it. To me it wasnt a big issue, but for others it might be. This is a single person assembly, not tough at all. Others reviews complained about the strong smell of the black finish, which concerned me, but I decided to order it anyway. I noticed the smell when assembling it, but once it had been set up for a day or two it went away. Sometimes I smell it when I open the drawer, but its not powerful enough to bother me. Its a nice piece, perfect for behind a sofa.

I really should have given it 5 stars, and maybe I'll go back when I'm done reviewing to change my 4 to a 5. I knew prior to ordering about the one minor glitch holding it back at 4 stars, which is the lack of drawer glides. It really should have those at the price. But it has real wood and not particleboard, so the price is sorta justified there. It's not like they're frequently-used drawers, anyway. Assembly is turning 8 screws - dead simple. I did notice that unlike some other pieces I've gotten from Wayfair, the screws with this piece did not have LocTite pre-painted on. A little dab of LocTite solves that problem. The assembled unit is very sturdy, and looks great in our entryway. Does 100% of what I need a console table to do, which is to provide a surface to hold my keys and wallet. Bonus for having 3 drawers that over the years I'll inevitably fill with things I'd be better off throwing out, but that sometimes make for interesting "forgotten drawer" discoveries as I age. Final word - 4.5 stars, which is not possible here. Consider this review the extra half-star.

Exactly what I expected. Great price/quality ratio. The only reason I didn't give a five is the color isn't what I expected when you are close to them; aka actually using them to hold something like a mug or remote. I expected them to be campaign (as they appear in the picture) but they are campaign with some sort of antiquing (brownish) stain over the top with visible brush strokes. I'm thinking I might repaint them. I would buy again. The hardware is visible but again, it is the right price/quality ratio. I bought this one and three of the bunching tables. They were easy to put together and they didn't have any damage.

This console table was exactly what we needed for our small space by the hallway stairs. It just fit perfectly and looks great! I watched my husband put it together and it was challenging even for him and he is used to putting lots of things together. It did have a smell to it that was quite strong...I think it is the top probably when they stained it as we have the wood top. The smell is starting to fade after a couple of days. I will post a picture later. I just haven't taken one yet. One thing I will think about doing is changing the drawer knobs to something we like better and more elegant. We needed this as a space to put our keys and small things for work...charging our phones. My husband even put in an outlet by the stairs in anticipation of it being delivered and it was on time. This table looks perfect in my entryway of my bilevel house. The curve of the front allows people to be able to easily walk past it before they walk down the stairs to our den. I quickly put the table together by myself, and the color and finish is beautiful! I love the shelf on the bottom and the storage inside. I have it sitting below an antique mirror that belonged to my great aunt.

I love this console table! I was worried it might be too gray or have a gold undertone but it is a lovely medium brown that goes perfect in my foyer. Our floors are a darker gray washed brown so I did worry about the console table clashing but it goes so well together. I love how the metal on the table coordinates with my stairs’ wrought iron railings. It did take me a while to put together but that’s because my 3yr old son kept “helping” and sitting in my lap. Overall, it was simple to put together though my son distracted me I inadvertently put the legs on backwards. The table still looks great and I’m happy to report the drawers line up as well as glide smoothly. Buy this table, you’ll be so happy you did!
