Best End & Side Tables With Reviews

It’s a great little table! I’m not giving it 5 stars for two reasons. One is because I wished the board to the bottom piece had guiding holes for the screws. Thought it is nice I was able to drill it myself and attach the bottom board securely with an electric screw driver, I think it also should be mentioned the board needs to be laid on top of the corner pieces at the bottom and the screws come up from underneath. (Mentioning those as I saw some comments complaining about screws not being long enough or having issue with this bottom piece). Maybe illustrating that fact in the instructions will help prevent this confusion. The second reason is because the peg feet for the table were hammered in unevenly (sticking out in some obvious and weird places). I was able to pull them off and re-hammer them back in to make them more discreet and even. Perhaps if you just gave us these pieces instead of having them tacked in already it would help and also undercut the labor needed to create the guiding holes for the bottom part of the end table. All in all the quality and sturdiness is fantastic. My toddler pulls herself up to standing and I don’t even see it budge an inch.

Let me start by saying if you're looking for something of high quality and damn near perfect THIS IS NOT THE PRODUCT FOR YOU! Now if you're looking for a decent piece of furniture that looks good and at a decent price I would recommend you buy this. I've had mine for roughly 6-7 months and it's held up relatively well. That being said there are holes that are slightly misaligned by a few millimeters and some pieces maybe slightly warped but you can make it work. Again if you're the type who is super OCD and needs to have everything perfect THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. But if you're that dude that doesn't mind when you're in a parking lot and fat mama June is trying to get out and she swings her car door wide open like shes offloading a cattle car and she happens to cause a slight ding on your vehicle and then you just shrug it off and never ever think about it again then this is the product for you friend!

The end table is exactly what I wanted. It’s attractive and functional. The drawer could be larger, but it will do. I did have a problem putting it together. The instructions were clear, and all that had to be done was attach the legs and shelf. All went well until I got to the shelf. The screw driver tool included did not fit the screws for the shelf. The only screwdriver I have is small and light. The next problem was the legs did not have drill holes to receive the screws. I tried creating a hole with a small nail, but it was impossible to get those screws far enough into the legs to be flush. There are gaps between the legs and the shelf. I won’t be able to put anything on that shelf until I can find someone with the proper tools to come in and fix it. I’m just hoping the table won’t need to be taken apart to fix it. Nice end table, lousy preparation to put it together.

The nightstand is great and was securely boxed. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the instructions said to remove the drawer to get at the legs. This couldn't be done, I finally realized, without removing the drawer stop on the underside of the drawer. Bonus! Found the legs in a box which was held in place on the underside of the dresser top. Great I could proceed! Not so fast - the box was held in place with a piece of one-half inch heavy duty strapping material that wasn't easy to cut. Finally got the box out but couldn't get the material pulled out because it was stapled in at each end with 2 heavy duty wood staples. I started this project at 4PM and it took until 5 to finally get all the strapping material pulled out. It took only another 30 minutes to put the drawer stop back on, the legs and shelf on. I appreciate the excellent packing because there was zero damage to the nightstand. But unpacking was a nightmare. However, the nightstand is sturdy, the color is perfect, and the size is exactly what I was looking for. If you know what to expect, assembly shouldn't be any longer than about 45 minutes, which isn't bad. I definitely recommend this product.

These are so beautiful! I purchased 4 to use as nightstands in my kids rooms in the ESPRESSO color and was glad they all arrived in the same color. The color is not a dark espresso, but more what I would consider a brown cherrywood. The color matches the item displayed in the picture. I’ve posted pics, from afar the color difference isn’t that obvious, but up close you can see it is NOT espresso- like my furniture. This doesn’t look bad however and so isn’t a deal breaker for me. They were super easy to assemble and did not require tools. As a matter of fact my 4yo son and 5yo daughter helped me put them together which gave them a sense of pride since they were for their bedrooms. Very sturdy construction. The odor from the shipping camphor packets was VERY strong and I was concerned it would give the kids a headache that night but I just put the tables in the bedrooms and sprayed the bedrooms heavily with the “Febreeze 2X Heavy Duty” air freshener that I had on hand and that took care of it immediately. They also shipped very quickly and arrived on the date promised. Thanks Wayfair !

Terrific for use as a nightstand. I ordered two of them in red and the color was perfect. Not too bright/fire engine-y red or too dull, antique red. Exactly as pictured and exactly right. It came assembled, fits in the small space I wanted it to and looks terrific. It also arrived promptly when my order confirmation said it would. The nightstands arrived on two different days, not on the same date. Happily it was before my houseguests arrived. It is well made though the wood is lighter weight than I hoped. The nightstands are for a guest bedroom and will be perfect for this purpose. I am very happy with this purchase. Thank you Wayfair!

I ordered this in yellow (my favorite color) and I've been very pleased with the result. I would like to note though that the color shown in the product photo for the yellow paint isn't entirely accurate--while the product photo shows a hard boiled-egg-yolk yellow, mine is more of an unboiled-egg-yolk yellow. For the less yolk-inclined, it has a bit more orange in it. It's not too large of a difference and I would definitely still consider it to be yellow, so I'm happy with it.I'm using this as a bedside table (or nightstand, if you will) for my college apartment, and--although I know I sound like a shill--with the corresponding writing desk I have a pretty tasteful set-up. Building the table took no more than a half-hour with a #2 Phillips, despite some futzing about with which direction the legs were supposed to point in. Since then I've had no issues with stability. The drawer is a little bit too sticky for my liking, but given that I don't use the drawer too often it's not a huge loss for me. I ordered the matching writing desk in a black finish and I've had some problems with the paint chipping that thankfully have not been reproduced on the nightstand. I've spilled laundry detergent on this bad boy by accident and the paint took it like a champ. Overall, I would recommend it. The mix of metal and painted wood works very nicely and the criss-cross legs are a much more visually interesting element than you're average bedside table. It looks good and it works well.

When They Were Delivered I Could Not Have Asked For Better Service, The Gentleman Asked Where I Wanted Them And If I Needed Any Help . The Boxes Were In Good Shape No Cuts Or Tears Perfect Shape. The Price Was Too Good To Be True. Very Easy To Put Together No Time At All. Everyone That Comes Here Are Also Very Impressed. Great side tables. I got it in the colour brown. They are absolutely perfect. A great upgrade from what I had before. Wish it was solid wood though. But those are not easy to find and especially in a style that I would like. These side tables are very easy to set up. When I assembled the second side table, there was a gap in one leg. It took me forever to fix. Since my partner is a builder, he helped me figure it out. So here is the tip; I had to remove all the screws on the black metal bar pieces closes to the top wood table top and the 4 screws that attaches underneath the table top. I had to make sure all the metal pieces sat flat underneath the wood top, then I put all screws back in. Then wala!… I didn’t have a wobbly side table! Perfecto! By the way I put the 2 side tables together to make a table! :p

Happy with this purchase. It was well packaged, so there was no damage when it arrived and it was super easy to put together (you just have to attach the legs!) and it looks great! It was a welcome relief after our terrible experience with the Heiss Solid Wood Low Profile Platform Bed By Mercury Row® that we purchased through Wayfair that arrived in super thin cardboard that we had to cut off only to discover three of the visible peices of the bed were damaged, and when we contacted Wayfair to return it, they said we would have to send the bed back "in the original packaging" and when i explained that packaging had to be cut off, i was told to go purchase a large box from UHAUL to send it back in? I did not have time to deal with that so now am stuck with that damaged bed that was also a nightmare to put together (and the person we originally hired to put it together when we ordered through Wayfair was a no-show). I wanted to write this review for the bed itself, but Wayfair turned off the review link for that so i'm writing it here in hopes they'll see it and let me move the review there instead as I want to warn folks not to buy that bed!) But, again, this nightstand is great, and i would for sure recommend this!

I ordered two of these Saturday night, and they both arrived Monday morning! I ordered the Cherry color, and it looks as expected and came with no scratches. Each nightstand comes assembled with a couple layers of thin padding on top, then it's in a box with 4 sides of Styrofoam around that, then that's inside another box. Seemed very secure, and it was very easy to open and lift out ready to go. The drawer has no side slider things but does have some sort of stop to prevent it from sliding all the way out, which is helpful. I thought this unit had shelves with baskets sitting on them (and planned to use the baskets elsewhere), but it turns out the baskets ARE the shelves and there is nothing under them. Whoops! I should have read the Q&A better. The baskets are very sturdy but a little rough in and out, so you may want a basket liner inside. I saw someone suggest felt on the bottom edges, too--great idea. Strangely, both units have the exact same small wobble, where they tilt back and forth between the front right and bottom left legs. I can just put an extra furniture pad on the bottom so relative non-issue for me, but figured it was worth a heads up. I've been looking for a while for nightstands that weren't too big, and these are a perfect size while taking advantage of the whole unit for storage.

Just what I needed. Loved the color. Took about an hour to assemble, easy to use instructions with everything labeled. Good size drawer space. Able to put SoClean machine on bottom shelf

This table is perfect for my needs. I needed a little more storage in my home office but had limited space. The drawers and baskets are big enough to hold standard size letter paper with a little room left over. The finish is very nice in a satin cherry stain. The top has four grooves cut into it about an inch from each edge that gives it a craftsman look. Blends nicely with my cherry office furniture. Came extremely well packed with a box within a box as well as styrofoam padding all the way around the inner box. Appears to be all wood construction. Shelves that hold the baskets are finished and the inside of the drawer is stained to match. Very well made and sturdy table at a very good price.

These are nice for the price, I realize you get what you pay for so I gave it 4 stars on that aspect, as it is very nice for the price. It’s one of the most inexpensive ones you can find. I wanted white, and I am dreading that I ordered white. I’ve never owned white laminate type furniture before and learned with this piece that dust will visibly collect on every surface of this thing. I dust it once or twice a week and it’s exhausting. Not a fault of the product, but keep it in mind for choosing your color. The brown might do the same because of the laminate surface maybe Not sure. Also, if you have a toddler running around you may want to reconsider this purchase as well. We have a toddler running around our home and haven’t had these for even a year yet and we already have several visible nicks on the top from rough play. I imagine these would be fantastic pieces for a home without little ones running around or if you don’t get much dust in your home, they are nice looking but not at all long lasting with little ones.

Color: Black. I love my new end tables. They arrived 2 days apart and came with a ridiculous amount of styrofoam that I’ll have to pay extra for to dispose of, but they were fully assembled and completely undamaged so I’ll take the bad with the good. I’m not a huge fan of visible cords so I’ll learn to live with being able to see the cord on the floor. I’m keeping it tucked away was much as possible. Having power and USB in the units is great so, again, taking the bad with the good. These tables are solid. While I probably won’t use the pull-out trays much, you can see in the picture that they can easily support a full 24 oz HydroFlask bottle. These replace two end tables that were much larger and had two different wood finishes on each. I wanted narrower tables to fit better in the space and I also wanted all black as I already have a lot of different wood tones in the room. These sort of fade into the background rather than stand out, which is what I was hoping for. I went back and forth with several different end tables and finally landed on these and I am very happy with the decision.

It is mainly well-constructed, but some of the slats on the side were loose, and one back seam doesn't pull flush. The door sticks and I'm not sure how secure the latch would be; when my puppy jumps against the door (excited to know he's coming out) the whole thing rattles, and it seems it could pop open easily. He is happy with the new crate and tucks himself into it with no fuss. The wood is good quality (not the typical veneer- garbage that scratches just looking at it), and it looks very nice with the beveled top, base and arches. If you have a dog that will challenge the crate AT ALL, I don't think this is the one for you though. I think even my little guy could break out if he got a notion to try, but he is crate trained so I think it will work for us. It goes together easily (less than 1/2 hour.) If your house is small, or you're not strong, I suggest opening it outside and bringing in the panels, rather than struggling with the awkward box! The box is worth saving, though great for storing artwork - very good packaging!! I got the large, even though my puppy is only fourteen pounds ( a cockapoo) but he sometimes likes to stretch out full length when he's sleeping, and I wanted to give him the choice of either curling in his cat bed, or lying full length. With the large, you could put a regular carrier inside at first, to "train" a dog that needs some more hefty confinement. Too bad the slats don't have a wire rod running through them; that would make it much more sturdy, plus having two latches. My biggest disappointment is I ordered Walnut, and the box was labeled Walnut - but it is obviously Espresso; it's very dark and doesn't match my other furniture as I intended. If not for that, I'd be very happy with it.

Decent crate. If you think it is going to look like fine wooden furniture - no, it won't, but then again this is a wood-plastic composite and will be easy to clean if an accident happens and it really doesn't look bad at all. It definitely is an upgrade from the travel crate I was using in the family room. Unfortunately I can't put bedding into any of my dog's crates as they all shred the bedding and then find the shredded bedding to be a gourmet meal. There is a reason to this whole bedding story: if one accidently urinates in the crate it will be on the floor...I have water proof vinyl plank flooring as dogs and messes go hand in hand, but for those that don't be warned there are some small gaps between the sidewalls and bottom panel and I guarantee it will leak. This is not your typical "crate pan" with a lip that helps contain the mess. The one thing missing that I plan on fixing is the lack of door stop or door damper to keep the door from swinging inward. It can make it a challenge to latch if you don't have two hands available as the door moves easily and pushes inward as you are trying to latch it. A thin furring strip screwed into the inside of the crate opening should fix the issue. It isn't a big deal, but it is something I personally find to be missing from the design. Things I love about this crate are the high side walls and solid back panel. I have one dog that is a vindictive urinator. If she gets mad enough she will potty in her crate even if she has just been outside. Once she has a puddle she has to splash in it (her rendition of the dance scene from "Singing in the Rain"). With a traditional crate it went 360 around the crate (wall, floor, on the dog in the crate adjacent to her; the only thing she didn't get was the ceiling). This will stop that nonsense as the full back and higher side panel should only allow any mess to only come out the front (well it should only come out of the front, but with her anything is possible). I shouldn't have to worry about furniture in the vicinity of her "crime scene". As long as it isn't in front of her it should be safe from her tap dance splashing - and those gaps I mentioned earlier will help drain the crate to further reduce the "splash" It is a solid crate, it is secure, went together rather easily. I would recommend it if you are looking for something with a little more containment than most offer. I have had a couple of issues with the "nut or cover" on the crate side walking off (so far not the hook/latch side on the door). Locktite Blue fixes the problem. Make certain you use the Locktite labeled "blue" as it is removable (the red is not), in the event that you have to ever remove it for any reason. The blue is more than enough to keep the nut/cover from walking off and coming apart. Only caution watch that you don't tighten it down so far that the hook latch is difficult to engage

The table is very nice looking once all put together. I agree with the other reviews that the "drawer" is kind of pointless as it is so small it is basically non functional. It is strange as there is a lot of open space within the cavity of the table that the drawer could have been much larger. I purchased it for the esthetics of the table looking nice rather than drawer functionality so I'm ok with this. A note for anyone who will be assembling this...pull forward the little white tab that keeps the drawer from being able to be pulled out too far and actually pull it almost all the way out before you start attaching the legs. Otherwise it will be virtually impossible to be able to screw in the screws to attach the legs in this front section. It took me forever to figure this out after much frustration.

I was concerned about the quality after reading several reviews. But due to the price I decided to buy 2 and take a chance because I liked the end tables looks. Pros: The price, a bargain. They will certainly meet our needs for the time being but I do not see them lasting long term. Also, they came assembled which is a huge plus. Cons : They both have minor defects in the paint (picture included). In addition, the drawers do not have any real mechanical parts on the drawer mechanism, they simply run wood on wood when opening (picture included). So that will get annoying quickly. Overall, we needed end tables fast as we are redoing the room. So they will certainly meet our short needs. But for long term end tables I would pass. So worth price for sure if you are in need of smaller end tables.

I purchased two of these Olney 1 drawer nightstands in Ash. This is a kit that you assemble. The kit is manufactured by Sauder, a well known furniture kit maker. It is made of particle board or manufactured press board (drawer parts) covered in thin laminate. It is not real wood. Did you really think you were going to be able to buy real wood furniture for $70? Assembly instructions are excellent but if you have problems with picture-gram instructions, find someone else to assemble the nightstand. All the parts were included. I had no damage to any part. All the holes lined up perfectly. It took me about an hour to assemble the first one and about 45 minutes to assemble the second nightstand. I am fairly handy and have assembled several Sauder kits in the past. You will need a Phillips screwdriver and a hammer. The nightstand looks nice; is sturdy and fairly heavy. I thought it was a little low in height. You may want to verify the height works for your bed height. The wood grain is fairly convincing; but it does not look like real wood....but close.
