Best Console Tables With Reviews

This is a beautiful console table, perfect for my entryway. I was worried the marble was going to look obviously fake and cheap, but I’m happy to report it looks really good! Very realistic. I assembled it by myself and it took me about an hour. All the bars are numbered (they have little stickers at the end!) so you can easily follow the directions. The hardest part was adding the decorative bars, mostly because I didn’t pay enough attention at the beginning and realized I had to flip the bottom leg to ensure the holes lined up–so definitely pay attention to the pictures! The long diagonal bar was kinda hard to secure, not sure if it’s because I assembled it last or if the holes were not perfectly aligned, but I managed to lock it in after some (many) tries. Looks great and I have received many compliments on it!

I absolutely LOVE this unique console table. Perfect colour match to my tv/shelving unit in my living room. I would have preferred to give this table a 5 star review; however, as in many other reviews stated, very frustrated when putting the table together. A power drill was needed to attach the legs which was not too bad - it was attaching the table top to the base. I had to remove a couple of wooden pegs before the top would line up. There is a bigger gap on one side of the drawer so you can see the track. I still LOVE it even with some of the issues. It would be great if the company could look into some of the issues and make the little changes required to make the assembly process much better ! Thank You !

I have the coffee table so I wanted to get the console table to match! It arrived in nice packaging and looked great. I gave it 4 stars because the screw to one of the legs wasn’t secured well and fell out when I was putting it together. When I reapplied the screw to the leg, it kept falling out or was turning in place and wasn’t connecting to the table at all. I had to use superglue to make sure the nail was held in place in the leg. Finally it worked and the rest was easy! Overall I love the look and its nicely made, just had a little hiccup on the leg.

Great quality for the price. It's sleek, solid-looking, and looks like excellent quality up close. I was concerned that it might look a little cheap/veneer at close range, but it's a beautiful, rich color with depth and really adds a solid, streamlined feel to an area that previously had a clunky-looking, oversized table. Bonus feature for me are the soft edges. Nothing looks more unappealing to me than the sharp corners on cheap furniture - not to mention painful if you bump into them. They really took the time to soften the edges on this table, which adds to its high-quality look. It's sleek, graceful, and soft -- if you get what I mean when getting a "feel" from a piece of furniture. I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase.

Love this table so so so much will be buying another one and now both my daughters want one for their home as well . Perfect for our small narrow entry hallway. Only 8in in depth so very slender and not overwhelming. Mirror top finish was a nice surprise as you can’t really see it in the advertising photos. Overall we are pleased, but make note the finish is a matte painted gold NOT brass, and it scratches easily so assemble on a rugblankettowel to avoid wrecking it. Assembly is very easy (allen key, pre-drilled holes). The thickness of the metal frame also looks more slim in the ad photos, it’s a little bit heftier in real life.

Nice tables for the price. They aren’t overly sturdy though. I bought 2 of them to go behind each section of our family room sectional... one table is placed behind the sofa and between the wall, so it serves its purpose well as a nice place for drinks or books, etc... the other was meant to go behind the other half of the sectional and mimic a free standing sofa table. However, it’s not very heavy, and I fear that if someone (kids or dog) were to move the sofa enough that it bumped into the table behind it, it may tip over... I have yet to place a lamp on it for that reason. Also, because of how narrow it is, it is hard to find a lamp that doesn’t hang over the sides. If you are looking for a narrow table to place along a wall or in between a sofa and a wall, this is a great choice!! Looks classy yet comfortable, can be mixed with many different design styles! Not recommended for stand alone use!

Purchased Antique White. Excellent packaging (see photo), and looks exactly as pictured. Had a tiny chip on back side of console but Wayfair took care of that and I'm thrilled. Took forever to find something "just right". Took about an hour to assemble (I'm so-so at self-assembly, so many people will be far faster at this). Included a close up so you can see the edge and how it looks just the right amount (as in barely) distressed and not just painted. [Shown with Wayfair rug "Darcia Pink/Purple Area Rug" and "Abigail Standard Bookcase" in "Chalked Chestnut".] All three products - the Noisettier Console Table, rug and bookcases are incredibly high quality. Have had close friend see how the colors really go together and lighten the room. Can't explain how happy I am with the purchase. Elegant without being too "country frenchy" or prissy or feminine. Adds just the right amount of style without being in your face. This piece (and the others!) will most definitely be around a long time. After countless attempts to find the right TV/Entertainment Center I couldn't find one. A friend said "look at console tables - they're slender! And they don't have the 'entertainment' (ugh, so bland!) feel about them...!" Spot on. And at this price...! Wow. Sorry for the slightly messy pix of the cable cords and cat on towel - I'm working on what I'll put on the shelves and hide the cable box. Buy it! So much better than an "entertainment center" -- I just needed something that wasn't super deep and with the flat-screen that's all I needed. Still have room for a cat to lay out in front of the TV without blocking the TV! Thanks always to Wayfair and customer service input as well.

The table is nice and heavy and perfectly fits my space. I knocked off a star because of the ease of the screws going through the wood. It was completely my fault, but I put the wrong screws in the middle holes (I used the long screws instead of the short). I didn’t even push but just used the Allen wrench and the two screws went through the other side. My husband was able to paint match at Lowe’s. Completely my fault but I was still pretty disappointed that the screws went through the other side so easily I may have cried a little.

I am so pleased with this console. It seems very well made, and is sturdy. I ordered the Farm Blue color. On my monitor, the closest picture to the actual color is the one in the room setting. It is slightly deeper in color. The close-up pictures are much bluer than the actual color. (My thanks to a previous reviewer who notated that it was more green than the pictures. Without this input, I truly would not have ordered this color, and consequentially would have not been as happy as I am with console!) As for the assembly, let's just say the 10 minute estimate is a tad optimistic! It took me that long to line up the first hole! I am 68 years old, and put this together myself. The "legs" are actually part of the entire sides of the console. It is well made with the screws hidden without those annoying plastic plugs because they are put in from inside the cabinet (thus, for me, the reason 10 minutes was inadequate, but well worth it!). I suggest, as with other assembled furniture, to put screws alternating opposite corners. I found it best to leave the screws loose at first so the bottom shelf can more easily put between the legs. (I assembled this with the console upside down). Once assembled, I tightened all the screws, flipped it over, and viola! Really happy! Love the wood top. It comes with doors and knobs attached, and drawers assembled and in place. Very well packaged, and my deliverers were very helpful, but, oh my, the Styrofoam!

I needed a new door table to conceal all the random junk Keys, hubby’s work tool belt, spare change, batteries etc. we had an open shelf w nice basket before and for a catch-all by the door, it wasn’t cutting it. I really like this door table! Having 4 drawers are awesome! Size is perfect for our space it’s in, which was surprisingly hard to find. It was super simple to assemble, being mostly done for you. You have to put the legs and bottom shelf on, that’s it! I like the drawers, while not solid wood bottoms, are a thicker “fake” Wood bottom. Not the typical cheap type drawer that falls out after a short while. At least I hope not! The only thing which is probably my fault, is the drawers are NOT smooth gliding. I didn’t want that, but I can deal .Its just a door table. A very reasonably priced one at that. I can deal with the wood on wood slide out thing. I probably overlooked it In specs. Also a note it’s more of a dark yellowy cream color, not the whitish cream I expected. That bothers me more than the drawers as I wanted it to match an existing end table I Have. Oh well. Too much hassle to return, and it’s still a nice table. I can also paint it later. I love the overall everything else about it. Seems to be well made, which is most important. The positives far outweigh my 2 tiny negatives . I’m including pics but please overlook the school books on bottom, lol. That’s a temp thing due to some remodeling. I DO highly recommend this table! Just know it’s more yellow toned cream and it’s not real drawer glides.

I was pleasantly surprised by this piece. I originally purchased a very expensive Serena and Lily piece for behind the sofa but it ended up being too tall. I took a chance on this piece and although it's a laminate top it's actually pretty nice. I'm a child of the 70's so I kind of get the shakes when I see laminate but in this case it's done well. I agree with people's complaints about the hole coverings/stickers. It feels like they cheap'd out on the finishing touch that kind of makes or breaks the piece. In our case you can't see them because they're up against the sofa so no big deal. As an interior designer - I would NOT purchase this piece if you are using it in a space where you can see the backside because you will see the holes where the legs and base piece are put together and they are very obvious. Stickers are not going to cover that up for years to come. Otherwise it was easy to put together and it looks good in our space so we're happy with our purchase.

Better than expected. There are multiple sizes and multiple finishes.  I wanted a sofa table in a bronze finish to match my light fixture ( This console is more of a soft black - It works for me, no complaints ).  I wanted something inexpensive, long, and narrow.  This brand has a 55"Lx10Dx29H console/sofa table but, I wanted longer, so I purchased two - 36Lx10Dx30"H and placed them side by side to give me 72" length.  I love it!  With two of them, it's the length and depth I wanted. With the glass shelves, it's light and airy.  The thick band around the top matches the thick band around the base of my light fixture.  The quality isn't amazing. When I adjusted the adjustable feet (on arrival), to stop the wobbling, dirt, or rust fell out at each turn.  I'm going to try to find a wax paste to slow down the rusting of the pieces (Everything that is not made for outdoors rusts when you live on or near the water). I would recommend them.

Bought this console table for my guest room. It was a recommended match for the Mayorga end tables I purchased, and it does coordinate very well, It is not an exact match, of course, so if that would bother you, you wouldn't want to order those together, but I've already had people remark on how well they go together. I didn't have the trouble with the drawers that some have complained about, but since they just sit on the shelf and don't have guides, if the drawers at the sides aren't angled correctly or are pushed to far over, then they don't slide out as expected. That's easily solved by aligning them, but I do think that if you put heavy things in the drawers that could be more of a problem. I also think, though, that if you have heavy things to store, these are probably not the drawers for you.

What a great fit for our home!! My wife, who has to see a product before she purchases it, was most happy with this table. it was what she had been describing for me and what she had been searching for in stores. We even traveled a ninety mile radius of furniture stores and could not find the color, style, or size table she was looking for. I showed her this table and she said let's take a chance because it looks like what I want!! Well, opening the box, I could see her excitement at the color, which matched our furniture, and size of the table. She even helped in the assembly of this table. After coming inside our home after disposing of the box and packing, she had it set up with her pictures and lamp. Thank you, Wayfair for this great gift to our home!! I really should have given it 5 stars, and maybe I'll go back when I'm done reviewing to change my 4 to a 5. I knew prior to ordering about the one minor glitch holding it back at 4 stars, which is the lack of drawer glides. It really should have those at the price. But it has real wood and not particleboard, so the price is sorta justified there. It's not like they're frequently-used drawers, anyway. Assembly is turning 8 screws - dead simple. I did notice that unlike some other pieces I've gotten from Wayfair, the screws with this piece did not have LocTite pre-painted on. A little dab of LocTite solves that problem. The assembled unit is very sturdy, and looks great in our entryway. Does 100% of what I need a console table to do, which is to provide a surface to hold my keys and wallet. Bonus for having 3 drawers that over the years I'll inevitably fill with things I'd be better off throwing out, but that sometimes make for interesting "forgotten drawer" discoveries as I age. Final word - 4.5 stars, which is not possible here. Consider this review the extra half-star.

This console table was exactly what we needed for our small space by the hallway stairs. It just fit perfectly and looks great! I watched my husband put it together and it was challenging even for him and he is used to putting lots of things together. It did have a smell to it that was quite strong...I think it is the top probably when they stained it as we have the wood top. The smell is starting to fade after a couple of days. I will post a picture later. I just haven't taken one yet. One thing I will think about doing is changing the drawer knobs to something we like better and more elegant. We needed this as a space to put our keys and small things for work...charging our phones. My husband even put in an outlet by the stairs in anticipation of it being delivered and it was on time. I love the overall look and color of the piece but the quality is not worth 340.00! On top of that it came damaged on one of the corners. Also was splitting in the back of the table about 5-6 in. at a seam. We glued that with wood glue and my husband screwed it together. The corner because it isn’t real hard wood is in a back corner but was not as easy to fix. So very disappointing! I have looked at this piece for a year but I have been afraid to order furniture from you because these are the kinds of complaints I see often with your furniture! If I would have paid the extra money for your team to put it together would you have sent this piece any way or get one that is whole Why don’t you examine your stuff first I would have sent it back but we were expecting our company from out of town shortly after we got this so didn’t have time for all that pain. Also the two drawers are a pain to open and close. They stick feels like a sticky substance is on the sliding part. The whole table shakes when trying to open and close so we will have to work on that! Needless to say I am disappointed in your expensive product! If I could I’d send it back but we already got rid of packaging. So I don’t think I will order furniture from you because I don’t trust you to make sure you send me whole pieces. Too many complaints in that department. All my lighting I’ve gotten from you has always been great! So there it is an unhappy camper!

This is the perfect piece for my landing area. I live in a townhouse I don’t have a ton of space but I did need some place to store pens and stationary and not in my kitchen. And this totally suits the purpose. It doesn’t stick out too far so everybody has plenty of room to come up the stairs with laundry baskets and so forth and it looks great and the quality is good for the price. You’re not getting the most expensive of expensive but I’m guessing if you’re looking in this price point you’ll be happy with what you receive. I will say the drawers do not fit in 8 12 x 11 piece of paper flat. The table arrived promptly on the day promised. The box was intact and the packaging was sturdy. Assembly was a bit tricky but did not take too long once I got the hang of it. I love the simple design of this table and it looks great in the place I had in mind for it. The color is black and it is designed to look like painted wood. The shelves are made of a pressed wood material and I suppose in an effort to make them look like real wooden boards they were given a wood grained effect. I found the graining a little too heavy to be convincing. Perhaps a plain flat surface would have been better. This is my only objection and it is not really noticeable once a few objects are placed on the table. Overall, a lovely piece for the price.
