Best Adjustable Bar Stools With Reviews

I bought 5 of these on sale in Burgundy color. They arrived fairly quick、 although FedEx dropped off at my neighbors by mistake...thank goodness for delivery alerts. They were easy to assemble and look great. I do wish the seat was a little deeper and it does feel a little bit like you're leaning forward if you don't put your feet on the foot rest. The swivel function is great and so far they have not damaged my wood floors at all. I am not a huge person、 but they do sink down a little when you sit. My kids (heaviest is about 60 lbs) however are not heavy enough to make the seat go down on their own. Overall these chairs work perfectly around my kitchen island and look really nice.

Great bar stool. Got 2 of them for a new bar I ordered and they go pretty well with the modern decor I was aiming for. The color is exactly as is in the picture and it was very easy to assemble (they both took me about 10 minutes to put together at night). Just as said by a previous review, it requires above a certain weight (120 lbs as described by the other review) for the hydraulics to move downwards but it can be moved upwards without any weight on it (In order words, you have to sit on it with over 120 lbs weight before you can reduce the height). The delivery time was very short; took about 3 days. There's no back rest so it might not be the best if you plan on sitting on this stool for a very long time. All the same, it's a beautiful and nice bar stool for the price. Great buy!

Took me months to decide on the right bar stools for my island and thanks to all the reviews here, I was able to make a great decision!! So thank you all for your time and for posting your pictures! First, the price for a pair of these stools are fair. Ive seen this bar stool cheaper under other sitesseller names but not all had the color choices. These are the burgundy. I also bought a pair for my upstairs wet bar in the white (amazing) and will get 2 more soon. If youre expecting commercial grade, heavy duty type steel, look elsewhere. If your expectations are reasonable for the price, welcome. Youre going to love these! They held a 200 lb person comfortably, are quiet with no squeaks, swivels full 360° flawlessly! Very easy up and down operation and INCREDIBLY easy assembly!!! My husband put together our 8 chairs in under an hour (and thats between homework and dinner). My picture does not show the highest height level, but these go up pretty high which was one of my reasons why I purchased these. I wanted my children to be able to sit comfortably at the island while snackingeatingdoing school work. My 6 year old loves these. Its all shell sit in! I love them too!! Very stylish, modern and sleek. I cannot wait for their first test run when my guests come over for Christmas)

I really like these stools now that I have three that the pieces actually fit together. Be aware they're from China with evidently no quality control. Thus two of the three I initially received wouldn't go together at all. My son had to drill out metal leg pieces on one to make it work until it was forced together. The other had been tapped for screws so poorly the holes were all stripped and misaligned. Was never going to work. I have to say, when I requested replacement parts from Wayfair they initially tried for me. Unfortunately, parts ended up being over a month out. Unacceptable. Wayfair Customer Service decided to just send me a new unit, which arrived within a week and fit together beautifully. Overall, the stools are quite nice once together. Seem sturdy, very comfortable with a large padded round seat (15" across!) and double ring footrest. The adjustable seat height is 25" at it's highest and can go down to 20" for my granddaughter. I gave 4 stars because I'm so pleased with Wayfair's handling of this order. The stools are ok for the price but definitely a gamble on quality. Wayfair is the real star here.

Good value, easy assembly, the seat feels a little cheap but not bad for the price. I received 3 of the 4 seat damaged which appears to have been due to shipping, however, the damages could have been avoided if it was well packaged - the box had plenty of room perhaps more bubble wrap would've helped with movement of the items. I called customer service upon receipt of the items due to damaged sits and I gotta say the service was great they offered to replace the sits...waiting for the replacements to arrive...

I purchased this bar stool in the color black to match my stand/sit crafting project area. I can't speak for other women but at first glance that big square box made one of my eyebrows rise. Getting over the size of the box, I was able to pick the box up with no problem by the packing straps with ease. Next the box was organize well supplying an instruction sheet (more so a picture sheet). I was able to put it together literally, in 5 minutes. Yes, that easy no help required. Turn the chair seat upside down place the silver foot rest over the holes place the washer over each hole put the screws in and use the allen wrench to tighten the screws. Next, there's a round ring (not sure what it does other than to hide the bottom of the shock in the flared bottom base. Place the ring on the flared base. Included in the box is the shock (that makes the stool go up/down). At the top of the shock REMOVE THE CAP it will have a sticker on it that tells you to do that FIRST before installing. Once removed you will see a colored tip (mine was red) at the top of the shock. Take the bottom of the shock and sit it inside the ring piece that is on top of the flared base and the stool is now setup and ready to use. The specifications/measurements provided in the descriptions are 100% correct as described. I had multiple weighed people (120-300lbs) at multiple heights 5'0" - 6' test my stool. *Note: my 5'0" tester stated they liked the foot rest when the stool was raised to it's highest setting as their feet barely touched the floor and the 6'0" stated at its highest rise they felt very comfortable. Overall, this was the perfect and flashy aesthetic stool for me and my crafting project area for those who like to stand but at times need a seated rest.

I ordered this in brown and I realised later I should have ordered black for my starburst granite countertops but thats my fault not wayfairs so the 4 stars remain. I must say I love love this stools. They are comfortable because of the padding and easy to adjust up and down. They also seem quite sturdy unlike the ones I am replacing which strangely cost the same as these. One thing I will advise anyone considering these to watch out for is that although they have a back support, you cant exactly lean back into it as you would a regular chair. It seems a little too far back. This doesnt bother me enough to return the stools though as I think they will still work for my purposes. I took away one star because theres the tiniest amount of wobble (so tiny one may not even notice it really) and so I still want to see how they hold up over a couple of months.

The stools shipped and arrived quickly. Assembly was effortless for me. We had hesitated to conclude a stool design as we wanted a clean, contemporary design with enough comfort to support our backs as this is a spot where we spend a lot of time together. This is the hub of our home Comfort: The seats are very comfortable. The swivel is smooth and regardless of if we lift or have them low, the foot rest is ideal. My husband has the back rest he wanted. We can sit here for quite a while with comfort. Aesthetics: We purchased the white and really like the way it fits into our space. While they make their own statement, they also complement the other pieces of our clean lined, contemporary condo. We are very pleased with them. Function & quality: We were a little concerned when we saw the price, to think that perhaps the quality was less than par. BUT these stools are solid. The swivel is smooth and the foot rest feels secure.

Very fast shipping, so I appreciate that. These are not the highest quality. The holes are not drilled well, and it's very hard to screw in the screws. I suggest you use a drill with an allen bit on it to make it go faster. Otherwise be ready to hurt your finger using the allen key they supply. You have to constantly remove it to get around the leg. Also, some of the weld spots on the foot rest are subpar. They were not clean and didn't look complete. I won't be shocked if at some point the foot rest breaks apart. Lastly, the leg portion that goes around the feet is VERY close to the floor. If for some reason the plastic foot gives out you will scrape your floor. I'm going to get some of those felt feet to put on top of the plastic feet for added protection. They look very nice and cost more than 1/2 as much as what a local store wanted for a similar style. They are just cheaply made and Im not sure how long they will hold up in my AirBnB. Oh and finally, the screw that holds the seat post in, it threads backwards. The instructions aren't very clear and I thought I had a bad screw hole, but you tighten to the left. Someone else complained about this but I dont think they realized it was a backwards screw.

Color is a nice medium golden brown wood with some good-looking lighter and darker variations in the wood grain which appears to be of standard construction, i.e. high-grade genuine wood veneer over pine or a wood composite. Looks great and should hold up better over time than most . Metal is a dark charcoal color and appears to have a thicker than normal powder coated surface which is great for cleaning and better chip resistance. This style can fit into lots of different decor types! Sturdy. Super easy to put together. I'm 5' tall and the foot rest is easy to access for even very short people if at the lower 24"-26" COUNTERSTOOL height . It does gets harder to use the footrest the shorter you are and the taller you need the stools to be. ( Haven't tried but I'm pretty sure my legs would dangle freely without touching the footrest as they always do when chairs are set at the taller 30" BARSTOOL height ) We like that these swivel from side to side. Be careful not to swivel around 360 degrees in the same direction too many times or you will have to reset it back to your chosen height by spinning it back the opposite direction to get back your starting point. (Spinning it 360 is how you are supposed to make it taller from 24" to the 30 " ;-). When you stand up be careful not to whack your bar or counter as it spins away from you when stand up or it will ding up sides of the back rest . You may also want to get some type of felt pads or foot cover caps to protect your floor. I opted for the 1" Super Sliders by Waxman as they look like they will fit. Haven't got them yet but hoping they will work well :-) I used to sell counter and barstools at a famous import store chain for many years so I kinda know my stuff. All and all, I'm pleased with the quality of these for the price we paid :-)

The chairs are exactly as shown, so I was very happy with that. I put it together by myself. Only problem with the instructions was they did not tell you which way to put the swivel plate so of course I did the first one wrong and it did not swivel, but once I understood how to do it the next two chairs went easy. One of the chairs was a slight wobble but I just put a pad underneath the leg and it is fine.

First time buyer on Wayfair. Was skeptical of quality based on other reviews. But was pleasantly surprised at the high quality of product, including fit and finish. Very simple to assemble - less than 10 minutes from unpacking to usability. Included instructions were clear and no parts were missing. Don't need instruction if you have assembled similar chairs before. There are four parts to assemble - the base, the main adjustable 'spring', the footrest, and the seat. All fit in nice and easy. Holding off on 5 stars since I don't know how durable this will be. For the price of about $80 per chair, I am good if it lasts at least two years. Would recommend to anyone looking for a decent bar addition at reasonable price.

EDIT After contacting Wayfair, they replaced the broken stools. I’m upping my review to 4 stars because of their awesome customer service. My husband is going to reinforce the welds with JB Weld, and hopefully the new stools last longer! ———— The stools look beautiful, but they are poorly made. After only 4 months, 6 of the 8 welds broke making the stool unusable. See attached photos - sorry they’re not the best, we are currently trying to fix it. The stools rarely get used, and no one over the weight limit has used them. For the price, I expected them to be higher quality. I’m heartbroken as I loved the way they look! I would NOT recommend these.

For me, it arrived in perfect condition and looked just as it was pictured. However, I didn't notice the zipper in the back while looking at the pictures - it's a bit ugly. There is cushioning, but it's just a little stiff, not the most comfortable thing to sit on. This is made worse because the back rest is so low, and it sits a bit too far back. In order to use the back rest, you have to lean back quite a bit in this stool, which still isn't as comfortable as leaning onto the table itself. While eating, you have to learn forward a bit, so the backrests go unused in my house. My friend with scoliosis has to use a cushion because these seats don't provide the right lumbar support. Also note that although you can adjust the height, you can't adjust where the footrest is relative to the seat. This may be a good or a bad thing. But you do have to get out of the seat to raise the height, rather than just being able to push yourself up using the footrest. I'm giving four stars because it looks nice, assembly was easy, and it was accurate to the pictures.

I purchased 5 of these fir my newly remodeled kitchen and family space. They provide the right look with their contemporary industrial design. It took a few tweaks to adjust the legs and voil'a they were set up and ready to go . I might add seat pads along the way but as of now, everyone who sees them loves them . Comfy fit and great looking overall . I'm so glad I found them because the designer stores are triple the price amdbactially dint hold that weight capacity . Highly recommended !

I looked for weeks to find a barstool that coordinated with the antique brass/light bronze chair legs on my mid-century dining chairs and not take the focus from my dining table/chairs/chandelier, and had about given up. Then these Yuvaan Retro stools popped up and were perfect! The brass color is perfect, love the adjustable height, the brushed finish, the round base that's easy to keep lined up and looking neat, and the contoured seat that is actually comfortable. Found them on a big sale, too, which was a big bonus! Very happy with the look, the quality, and the price.

These are great little counter stools. I love that you can alter the height. I was a little worried when I ordered them because of some of the reviews about how hard they were to put together. This was not the experience I had with them I was able to assemble all three of them by myself in under an hour. I will say if you follow the directions step by step I can see how people had trouble, but I didn't secure the loose legs to the other legs until the support bar was in and that made everything line up. My only negative is that the wood is a bit more red than in the picture which is why they didn't get 5 stars.

They are darker than pictured which I knew from previous reviews and did not care. My daughter and granddaughter love them as they are quite comfortable. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because of the assembly. Putting the stool itself together was quite easy. However, when it came to putting on the cushions (as there are no holes) it was quite difficult to align. They should at least mark the spots for were to put the screws in. I had to redo the 1st cushion 3 times and the other ones 2 times. I even used packing tape to hold in place. I put paper towels on the cushions to protect from tape. I had tested a small piece of tape prior and although it did not hurt the cushion it was very difficult to remove. Other than that issue am very pleased with them.
