Great standing desk! We’ve gotten a few from Wayfair in the past for friendsfamily but this one is probably our favorite to date. I like that it’s long but thin for smaller spaces and the cable hider tabs and headsetcable rack is a nice touch. Assembly was pretty difficult as not all the holes were drilled through so you definitely need power tools to assemble. Overall great desk for the price. NOT WOOD! This top is melamine (lots of white kitchen cabinets are made of this—it’s pressboard covered with a hard plastic-ish layer). I wasn’t expecting solid mahogany, but the description says “kiln-dried wood” and doesn’t mention the melamine layer. I was expecting a cheap wood top. It was really inexpensive and seems to be pretty well made, but I was surprised to discover the desktop material. Just a head’s up so you’ll know exactly what you are buying. Easy! to assemble (4 legs screw to the top) and no problem for one person. I’m attaching a fabric “skirt” under the top to cover the metal legs and give me a bunch of hidden storage space beneath. 3 stars because I wasn’t expecting melamine based on the description.. Sarah.
