I was incredibly frightened reading the reviews stating this piece is difficult to put together, as I am a single woman with little to no upper body strength and no power drill. However, the dark legs and white body were perfect to blend my mostly white furniture to my dark stained bed, so I took the risk.
It arrived while I was home for lunch, so I thought I would attempt at least unboxing and see what I had. A quick scan of the instructions and I figured I would go ahead and start assembly.
The instructions were clear, albeit merged some steps together. I found assembly very simple, and I did not require a power drill at all, not even to screw the wood screw through the drawer front to attach the knob. I had the nightstand completely assembled within 1 hr (and I am rather slow and methodical when it comes to assembly). I used the provided chalk to cover the label on the front of the nightstand once assembly was complete. Thus, my belief is that the manufacturer made changes to their product in such a way as to make assembly easier.
I absolutely love my new nightstand its fits perfectly into the spot I wanted and blends the wood tones in my bedroom. The only negative I really have is that the drawer pull is plastic, not metal.. Ely. USA. 2018-07-21 10:39:36
