We paid for Wayfair’s professional assembly when ordering this. Aside from the fact that it took five attempts to get this and another kitchen table set delivered with non-broken pieces, I’ve now noticed that this chair is not broken. General you pay for the design and the materials. If you like the design then its a good buy but.. Materials the wood are not really sturdy as you can see its breaking as you screw it in. Then its a machine cut and drill its not align, some holes are not really align. If I follow the holes it will not bring a good fit. I have to go and buy electric screw driver, hammer and nails. The nails did a better job than the screws. Effort you need to pray for wisdom so you can do it with the help of the Holy Spirit. Its doable 1 woman job. But you need strength and lots of patience specially when you found out that holes are not perfectly align. The finished product praise God it work well! Its similar to what is advertize. I like it. Compare to other base on my experience Ikea do better job the quality and ease in assembly is better than this product. So if you want this design just diy you might be doing better job in drilling holes. Extra expenses nails, screw driver and hammer. You may want to just let mayfair assemble it for you if you dont want muscle cramps on your arms. Or you may stop screwing and go ahead use the nails and hammer. Overall I like the way it looks!
