Nice little set of tables, and the perfect size for my space - the bigger one is quite a bit larger than the average end table, which is great. This was very easy to put together, and the design of the legs looks very cool (although it is slightly inclined to tip). The "black" color of this product is dark walnut with brown wooden grain, not pure black, there will be a slight color difference under different lights. You get what you pay for. It’s made extremely cheaply and the instructions were not super clear so I had to remake it 3X. Once it’s made it needs to be handled *with care* and gently. Love this coffee table. It was an easy one person assembly. Seems sturdy and the color is a pretty honey brown with some darker color variations. NOT a solid wood, but a pressed wood with laminate finish. But serves my purpose. The lid lifts and locks which serves as a great task table or for the kids’ snacks during movie night! I read the reviews about the table top being of low quality and still bought it. Luckily my intention from start was to marble it up, but during the process it was already scratching the lower part easily. I like the shape and its larger than I was expecting.
