Alexandia Wicker / Rattan Platform Bed

I wanted to like this bed so bad - I love the way it looks. When it came, the instructions inside were for a separate different piece of furniture which was frustrating. There was also a small chip in the headboard but I ignored it because it wasnt really noticeable from far away. My biggest issue by far is the SQUEAKING. I tightened the screws and was thankful the noise went away... until it came back maybe 2 nights later. Ive now gone through and tightened all the screws 4 times just for there to be minimal difference. The slats that support the mattress are also loose and the rubber stoppers meant to hold them in place dont stay in place. There is a thin layer of foam on the support bar that lays perpendicular below the slats for support, but because the slats dont touch them unless someone is in the bed, the foam has torn leaving the metal bare from chafing. After I felt I exhausted all my options, I went to Wayfair support in hopes of getting my money back because this item is defective. To my frustration, I could only get a refund if I disassembled, repackaged the bed, and took it to the carrier (or had it picked up). I had enough faith in my purchase to get rid of the original packaging, so boxing it back up seemed unrealistic and like it was more work than it was worth. Overall a very frustrating experience, especially because I loved the look of it so much!

The slats easily fall out and I haven’t even had it for a year yet. It’s longer than my actual queen sized mattress. It’s super cute but is not sturdy and off in proportion

Ten months after purchase, this bed has gone from perfect to a complete disappointment. At first, it looked great, was easy to install, and offered plenty of storage. But within months, the slats began slipping out of their brackets, causing dips in the mattress. Now the rubber stoppers meant to hold the slats are disintegrating — a clear design flaw. When I contacted Wayfair, they said they couldn’t help because it was past 33 days, with no warranty or protection plan. That’s unacceptable for a product that fails in less than a year. Wayfair should stand behind what they sell or stop working with vendors that don’t offer even minimal warranties. That’s zero stars for this product and zero for Wayfair’s customer service if those scores were allowed. Suffice to say we won’t be purchasing from them again.

Writing this review after almost a year of having this bed. It was not too difficult to put together with two people. The metal pieces were a bit tough to line up correctly but ended up getting everything to fit. The bed itself looks so nice. It has become a bit squeaky though. I have noticed the rubber pieces that were supposed to keep the slats in place have popped out. They are hard to get back in. I think that might be why it is squeaky now. Overall not bad for the price.

Center pieces were welded incorrectly since the directions show that for the 4 piece, the t-shape needs to run parallel with the 15 piece, however, the hole does not align for the center attachment.

Very disappointed damage everywhere only gave me 20 discount. I just came out of the hospital for bypass surgery Im in recovery and I cant be bothered with sending or replacing parts I am single and by myself hard to get anyone to try to assemble or disassemble I cant even try to send it back or receive another one .

Slats keep on falling out. It was easy to assemble, but it is really not great quality. It also came with a big scuff on the one black post
