Best Wallpaper With Reviews

If youre purchasing peel and stick wallpaper, this little combo will help you apply it smoothly. The small utility knife fits well in my hand. Those big box cutters werent really designed for applying wallpaper. When the blade starts to get dull and starts catching on the wallpaper, you just break off the tip and inch up the new one. Its easy and quick. The smoother is really invaluable as it minimizes those pesky air pockets that get into the peel and stick as you apply it. Its plastic and not as easy to tear the wallpaper as the metal ones. This was just perfect for my appeal and stick projects.

I originally ordered this and the other white and grey brick as samples, but this one was far better for our needs. The light actually picks up the texture of the paper and gives it more depth than the other white and grey brick paper available. This one is much brighter than the other paper as well, and I knew I liked it much better the moment I stuck it to the wall. If you do order samples, I do suggest you move them around to different spots of the walls to get an idea of what it'll look like in different times of the day in different light. I needed ten rolls of paper and wanted to get it right. I knew that this was going to look good, but I was not prepared for how stunning it turned out. It's gorgeous. SO very gorgeous. When I was younger, I used to help my mom with traditional wallpaper (wallpops paper itself still smells the same and is the same thickness for anyone familiar with old wallpaper), and I was good at "booking" to make the glue stick and then helping to line up seams and working out bubbles. But that was messy and took much more time than this. I was able to walk my husband and son through how to line up seams. My biggest fear was this was going to be like the super sticky kind of contact paper that ends up sticking to itself and making a useless piece of paper when it happens but that is NOT the case. Even if it does stick to itself, it doesn't tear apart when you pull it off itself. Working out bubbles isn't hard. If you're working in a well-lit area, you'll spot them right away, v. in shadows, where you can't see them until someone else points them out or you move the lights. If you've got significant wrinkles or bubbles, just pull the paper up from the bottom and smooth it back down the wall again. This pattern has a repeat of eight bricks. There is only one area where it's kind of noticeable, and it's the brick that looks like it has a letter "k" grouted into the upper left corner of the brick. That is really the only reason you can actually SPOT the repeat. If the pattern didn't have that, I'd love it even more, but I love it all the same. There is one brick in the pattern where the grout doesn't line up the way you want it to until you remind yourself that grout isn't supposed to be perfect anyway. It's the overall look that you're going for, and you have to remind yourself. My mother actually thought we installed a brick wall and was shocked when I told her no, it's wallpaper. Be prepared for people to go up and touch the wall. They're not going to believe that it's not real brick, and then they're not going to believe that it's paper. HELPFUL HINT: If you bought an old house and are using this, keep this in mind: sometimes, walls aren't even. My house was built in 1973. That might mean, that you, like us, may find that a horizontal pattern drives you nuts as you realize your walls are not even. Trust me: you can still use this paper and it will still be okay. We knew we were going to run into this problem and decided NOT to line up a grout line against the ceiling. We cut the top of the paper in the middle of a brick instead to align at the ceiling. It allows for a little more forgiveness if you should run into that situation and the top brick no longer "lines up" at the top- and you discover the paper is either "running uphill or downhill." If you use the top of a grout line at the ceiling, it won't be noticeable up there, but it WILL be in the middle of the wall, and that's what you want to line up. So cut the top to where the brick doesn't start at the grout line. I promise, it doesn't look stupid that way! Also, if you remove the paper and press down the right side as you go, the backing comes off easily and the side *generally* aligns fairly easily. We learned that probably four sheets down a long wall that we papered that extends from our living room, through our dining room, and over the cabinets as that wall extends into kitchen. If you have any areas of your walls that are textured from bad corners (we had one really rough corner), this went around it perfectly. I have another paper I ordered (the tailored metallic one that looks like it has rivets in it) when I ordered the brick and that's going up in the lower half of my master bath and I'm now looking at the backsplashes that are available because I think this is the way to go. I originally thought I'd put the brick up as the backsplash, too, but have you seen the backsplashes? They're actually shiny, like real tile, and can handle being splashed. I'm excited to see the three I like in person. This is probably the easiest renovation we have ever done and yet it looks like we spent a fortune and worked our butts off to get this look. And we're renovation pros!

So I’m no stranger to DIY and I gladly tackle most projects but I learned two things from this event. 1. How NOT square my house is and 2. I am NOT a wallpaper expert. If fact, if this were the days of paste and booking, I would have ended up with more product on me than the walls. Those two things being said, this product was ah-am-zing! I did one large wall in my son’s room and though it took me time, this stuff made life so much easier. I had it stuck to me, stuck to the wall, stuck to itself... and every time it repositioned itself with just a little coaxing. I used a credit card to smooth it out as others had recommended and it definitely made it better. I would also recommend planning for a little extra than recommended because this particular brick pattern runs every 18”. The product looks great once it’s up, better in person than pictures for sure. Knowing my skill set (or lack thereof) I would 100% use this again.

I would have given this excellent, but the company is a little sneaky by putting one little tree branch piece on the side edge so you have to line it up, when in fact the whole print could fit without doing this. We had to buy 3 extra rolls because of this "snafu." Great way for this company to get people to have to buy more. On the other hand, I loved the product, the look, and the ease of the way it went up, but I don't know if I would reccomend this brand just on the fact that the way they arrange the print/pattern it made us waste so much paper and money. If the company would fix this, I would be impressed.

This wallpaper is a fun pattern for my kids bathroom and improved the overall look. It took me a few hours to complete 1 accent wall. I probably wouldn’t suggest this wallpaper for a big project. The reason why, is it is hard to line up the pattern and keep the lines level. If you look closely, you can see my mistakes. The paper is sticky so it’s once you place it, it’s hard to rearrange. But overall it’s good for a inexpensive & relatively easy room update. I did purchase another self stick wallpaper for our laundry room. That one was a whimsical butterfly pattern. That was easier because the mistakes are harder to notice. This is an inexpensive paper so it can tear easily. This is only an issue for application. Once the paper is applied it sticks very good. I have had it up for 8 months and I haven’t noticed any peeling.

The wallpaper looks just like advertised. Colors are great. It actually looks textured when you stand back. It went on easy. You can peel off and realign if you need to. My husband and I have never hung wallpaper, we did this with ease. We had to cut around the stairs, air return vent, thermostat, etc. Even with all that we didn't have problems. You do have to line up the pattern to make it look seamless so I recommend ordering extra. It took 3 rolls to do this wall. We are ordering more to do the wall around our fireplace because we like it so much. As you can see we have several pictures hung up using command strips and the wallpaper stays up as if it was glued so I don't think there is an issue with it staying attached to the wall. Overall it appears to be great quality. I would recommend to anyone. Update: do not use command strips to hang pictures with. It has started to pull and stretch the wallpaper out. We removed command strips and used small nails to rehang photos, however, there is small creases that we can no longer smooth out. It doesn't look too bad because the wall paper makes it blend in. I know it's there though.

LOVE My wallpaper!!! Who thought wallpaper would make a comeback and have such an impact. Not me. I originally ordered two rolls to put behind shelving in our office. Once I received the wallpaper, I started to rethink its use. We have a guest bathroom that badly needs updating, complete with brass fixtures, including brass shower door frames, etc. So knowing the expensive cost of remodeling, I simply “embraced” the “gold” and decided the wallpaper I ordered was the perfect answer for a cheaper remodel. I’ve never wallpapered before, so I did have more waste than what was necessary and a lot of trial by error episodes. Unfortunately, I had to order more and will hopefully finish in 4 days. It’s a great look and easy to use (once you get the hang of it). Peel and stick is the way to go...I’m pretty sure. The before and after pics gives you an idea of what my project entails. I did this by myself including a new wall light fixture I installed from Wayfair while my husband was out of town helping with the Covid crisis. He was very impressed once he saw the transformation. I can honestly say, it was a great experience and I’m so happy, if not thrilled, with the outcome.

Looks beautiful once it's up, but would not suggest doing it in a cramped area like we did. A full wall accent would be lovely, but matching the pattern in a small area led to a lot of cutting and lost paper because the pattern isn't the easiest to sync together. Seems to be holding it's stick so far, but make sure the wall area is very clean and dry if you needed to sand at all because it loses its stick easily with any grit. Going around corners is nearly impossible as it bubbles and doesn't want to stick correctly so be prepared to do a lot of razor cutting to get edges looking good.

I am surprisingly impressed by this peel and stick wallpaper. It looks much better than I expected it to. Every wall in my apartment is painted the same white color, so I wanted to improve the look of my space. It is not as red as shown in the product picture (compare to my image), which was disappointing, but it still looks great. It was easy to cut, line up, and stick. It is also very easy to remove and stick again if the pattern doesn't quite line up. The pattern is also very forgiving if it is not exact. All-in-all, I recommend. **Update** After I wrote this review, I realized that I was sent the wrong color, and that's why the color didn't match the red/gray product image, so I am changing my review to 4 stars. I ordered the red/gray, but was sent the tan/gray. 4 stars because it stills looks great despite the color mixup.

I'm very pleased with this purchase. It was selected to be the statement for my fireplace wall, and it delivers! The pattern is very forgiving as far as matching up the sheets go, which is very nice for people who may be inexperienced with wallpaper. Be sure to clean the wall thoroughly - dust it, then wipe down with a cleaner or vinegar & water to get anything off the wall. wipe again to make sure all particles are removed, otherwise they will show through after application. The application itself was fairly easy. My was done on a 12 ft wall with an angle at the top, which made things interesting, but i was able to do it. Make sure to make a chalk line or mark with a pencil a level line top to bottom on the wall - it will be pretty obvious if you start going crooked. As far as gripes go, I only have 2, and they're related. The ink on this isn't permanent - it WILL come off on your hands as you smooth it down. Be sure to wash your hands between sheets if you don't want gray handprints in the white spaces. Second, because the ink wasn't permanent, using a metal smoothing tool results in some scratches in the darker ink, and using something soft like a rag or shirt risks ending up with gray ink in the white areas. Be super careful! I also found some marks on one of my rolls that seemed to be from the printers, but it wasn't a big deal as I had enough to finish my project. Overall, I would recommend this product.

I will say this is a gorgeous heavy duty wallpaper. I’m only giving this a 4 star review only for the fact it took us 3 attempts to get this paper to stick to the wall. Being novices, we assumed that if the wallpaper glue said that you could apply it to the paper or to the wall that it would work the same regardless. First attempt, we applied to the paper and then tried to stick to the wall epic fail then we thought it was the glue and that we might need a more commercial one. Went out and bought new glue applied to the back of the paper attempted to stick on the wall again epic fail. Super frustrated at this point. Called Wayfair, who was ready to just refund us our money but I really like the paper I want to see what I was maybe doing wrong. She gave me the direct number to the manufacturer. It was at this point that I looked at the directions which said to apply directly to the wall, so I asked the guy that was helping me, and she said in this case it has to be put directly to the wall as specified on the directions. Not exactly sure why it makes a difference but it sure did. So hopefully I will save somebody else the same frustrations we had. Definitely do as the instructions say and don’t pay attention to what the glue says.

First I hate writing reviews. I hate when companies ask me to write reviews. But I waited patiently for the chance to write a review for the Crocodile Black Wallpaper. When I tell you this wall paper is EV-VER-RE-THANG! I put it up in a small powder room bathroom. I had three walls painted black and the wallpaper put on the wall facing you when you walk into the bathroom. The look and feel are simply amazing. I had the corners trimmed in white shoe moulding and all fixtures are white. BOY oh BOY, this bathroom is stunning and the wallpaper is TOP quality. It didn't tear putting up, it was strong and resilient and it feels rich! I'm glad I found Graham and Brown on the web. I can try to post photos later I'm rushing to get food before the Super Bowl. I chose this wallpaper for my bathroom update because I liked the silver colour and I also wanted to bring a little of the outdoors inside with the cool twig design. I was hoping it would make for a nice masculine look with some industrial hardware and reclaimed wood. The website did not show any pictures of this wallpaper up on a wall so I couldn't tell what the overall design would look like but I decided to give it a try anyways based on colour, weight and design given. I'd have to say, this is really an exquisite wallpaper and so beautiful. It was super easy to put up with the "Paste the Wall" method. It felt nice and thick to the touch and was even more luxurious feeling on the wall. While I wanted a more masculine look, it didn't stray too far from that for me so I'm actually very pleased with the overall look of it so far in my bathroom redo. I ended up using two rolls for the space shown in the pictures (3 walls total w/one wall mostly mirrors because of some waste from having to pattern match. Anyways, this is an excellent, high quality, splendid wallpaper and so I would definitely recommend it.

Looked long and hard for what I consider to be a proper Duck Egg Blue. Don't know about an actual ducks egg but most wallpapers, paints, accessories etc are more green. This 'blue' wallpaper was exactly what we wanted for our colour scheme. We did start by pasting the walls but my husband found it easier to paste the wallpaper as he is used to this method and he found it easier to move the paper in to place and match the pattern this way. On full walls the pattern was very easy to match with very little waste. Only when we got to short walls, over the door for example, did we find the pattern harder to match. This may have been our fault because we always err on the side of caution and cut an inch longer just in case we've measured wrong!

Stunning wallpaper and great quality. The pattern is fun, the colors are rich, and I love that the gold accents are actually metallic. We used this for an accent wall in the kitchen and are so happy with how it turned out. The paper is very thick and we didn't experience any tearing or sogginess with the glue. My advice is to use a utility knife and cut every piece with a new razor. It was pretty easy to line up and we didn't have a lot of waste so we ended up with almost an entire extra roll of paper. There are a couple areas pictured where you can see white seams between two pieces even after priming the wall with black paint. It's ok though because the overall effect with the print is really beautiful and the few areas where there are bubbles or a seam are not noticeable unless you are looking very closely.

I still can't believe how nice this wallpaper is for the money. It's nice, thick construction. I've never hung wallpaper before, so I watched a load of videos on youtube before I decided to tackle this. I really suggest watching a few videos on how to turn corners properly with wallpaper. If you don't, your paper will eventually start to pull away from the wall. After watching a bunch of videos, I determined it's much easier to roll the paste on the wall in sections rather than paste the back of the wallpaper. I think I avoided a lot of mess using this method too. I also recommend rolling wallpaper sizing on the wall before putting up the wallpaper. It makes it a lot easier to reposition the wallpaper during the install and it'll make it much easier to remove if you ever decide you don't want it up there anymore.

We chose to use this horizontally as a sort of lower wall (will be adding a chair rail trim around the room) decoration and though difficult to keep straight left to right vs. top to bottom, luckily we only needed 1 width to get the desired effect. ***Bear in mind that the washed wood/shiplap print apparently should have the drips on the TOP and I probably hung this upside down, simply because I wanted the crisp edge at top due to 50+ year old crooked walls** If you paper L to R, just be aware that the sharp edge apparently goes at the BOTTOM if you are picky about how the paint spatter patterned wood print looks. Me personally I'm fine with it as-is. The paper is thick, and with paste easy to work with once you get the hang of it. Matching it is a BEAR around a corner, the 2nd photo is midway fixing it. Took two patch pieces to line up and camoflauge so when putting up your wallpaper--do your main wall and then work outwards immediately on the left and right adjacent walls to your NON corner walls so you don't end up going in a full circle as I did and having to match it up at the end to where you started. Lesson learned! Still it looks great and for the price we got a fantastic upgrade vs the 1974 brown floral hell that was up. One & 1/2 rolls was needed for our master bedroom and I will be taking remainder of the last roll and using it as an accent wall in a downstairs bathroom. It really is a nice print and color scheme and I recommend it highly!

It really is a lovely print! For reference when looking at pictures our wall was 8 x 10 ft. Info for purchasing: a) I didn't realize that there is text on this wallpaper. B) The roses have a hand drawn appearance to them and the peonies are more real life/photo-like. Neither point detracts from the wallpaper but I didn't realize b4 purchasing. C) paste IS included with the paper d) the mural comes in 4 large panels Info for hanging: a )the paste clumps easily, stir as you evenly sprinkle the paste powder into the water. Don't quickly pour in like I did. B) use a foam padded grout float to smooth out air pockets if possible. I found it helped a lot. C) the online video says to overlap the paper by 2mm at the seams but the pattern doesn't allow for that. Make light pencil marks on your wall when you are figuring out the center point. It's not easy to get the seams to match perfectly and heavy pencil will be seen between the seams. D) we had to cut the paper to fit our wall. We used a sharp exacto knife/box cutter and a metal ruler as guide. Don't try to freehand the cuts. Scissors helped to cut the outer corners. E) 2 ppl are needed to hang the panels 4) we used a roller to apply the paste but also found a paintbrush came in handy after the panel was already on the wall. We put extra paste on the seams and edges to ensure it didn't peel back. Have fun! Took about 3 hrs to hang but would by much faster if you don't need to cut.

Beautiful wallpaper. Easy application. Durable. I installed this in my half-bathroom, as the upper part of the wall to accompany a white beadboard lower wall treatment and white chair rail. The walls in my bathroom are not in good shape and would have showed a lot of imperfections if I had painted them, so I thought I'd try wallpaper. The wallpaper itself has a thickness to it that really helped hide the imperfections in the wall. I have very limited experience applying wallpaper and I found this to be easy to work with. I bought a wallpaper paste from my local hardware store and simply applied the paste to the wall and lined the paper up. My only recommendation is to make sure to order enough. There was quite a bit of "waste" in my application because the design repeat is fairly long. I would highly recommend this product.

This is pretty easy to install and looks nice. I don’t like the worn look as much. Just be aware that it looks less worn in the pictures than it does when you see it. I used this for our island and it took about 40 minutes to put up. I wasn’t happy with the result but that is my fault because I put it over boarding with ridges and not a flat surface. As you can see from the pictures the test spot turned out perfect for some reason but when I put the other side on the ridges came through. I’m sure it would look amazing on a wall or flat surface. Overall great quality and easy to put up. Seems like it will stay up and last. I still have a lot left so I can use the rest to line my closets. It is very thick and sturdy. Good purchase for the price.
