Best Mantel & Tabletop Clocks With Reviews

This clock is very unique looking and a great alternative to a traditional mantel clock. We are giving these as retirement gifts, and the back of the clock is flat, which is perfect for an engraved nameplate. We also love the fact that this works perfect for a retirement gift ("Thank you for your time!"), but with the nameplate hidden on the back, it will still look lovely in any room of the house. We loved it so much, we purchased enough to last us for several years of retirements.

Bought this for my husband.. he has a hard time waking up in the mornings... He loves it. He enjoys playing the games on it as well. What else is awesome about it is my toddler got a hold of it and decided she needed to wash it. We found it covered in water the whole inside and everything. We could hear the swishing of water inside of it. We did the best we could drying it out. Let it sit a few days. It works just like brand new again. The screen is still perfect and no noticeable water damage. I thought that was pretty cool.

We have been happy with our mantel clock. After much searching my husband and I finally found what we have been looking for to place on our mantel. The size is just right and we can easily view the face of the clock from any distance in our family area. The style is very unique and has just enough of an antique look to blend with our decor. The only drawback and reason we almost didn't purchase this particular clock was the words "fun time" on the front. After reviewing the return policy we decided to order it and have to say we don't regret our decision.

It is nice for the living room right below the TV. I wish that it had the date display. Upon opening the box it did look small and very light weight but once setup it is beautiful. I also like the idea of being able to charge my phone from the clock in the living room instead of having it in the bedroom. The charging is not super fast but it would suffice.

Great product. It was a little hard at first to setup with your phone but afterward its an easy process. It only connects with 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi which sucks if you dont know how to change the settings on your modem. Aside from all of that its a great item to get. Kids love that they can see the moon and the snowflakes falling and that it lights up on the wall.

I like the color and the size. Both are perfect for where I have it. The birds on top are a nicedifferent touch. I can hear the ticking of the clock if the room is absolutely quiet, but I like it. It’s not often you hear a clock ticking anymore. I am glad I got it on sale. I don’t feel the quality is worth what the regular price was. I also had a little bit of trouble inserting the battery. The battery compartment is super tight and it almost didn’t fit the battery - took several attempts and maneuvering for it to fit. (Hence the 4 stars vs 5.)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a quieter am alarm clock radio so it could be set for 3pm for the Divine Mercy Chaplet and 7pm for the Rosary on Relevant Radio. I specifically searched for a radio with a negative review saying that it was too quiet, and sure enough, it's was quieter than my other cheap radio. This was better for living in an apartment building and wanting a radio for every room. A note for marketing, they should advertise the decibel volume with the radio, and maybe a real world example of how loud it is, like how many blankets wrapped around it does it take to muffle the alarm volume. I was disappointed that the radio was manufactured in China, if I was able to notice that while reviewing online, I probably wouldn't have bought it, oh well.

This clock is exactly what I wanted. It has the antique look I was so hoping for! The second hand has a soothing sound to it. I could hardly wait to turn all electronics off so as to hear the soothing sound of the second hand. With a cup of hot coffee along with a snuggly blanket and lit candles it was hardly any time before the three goldens and I were taking a nap. You will not be disappointed with this purchase.

I had my eye on this clock since late 2020 and then when I had some free time to contact Wayfair to buy it, it was out of stock. And I noticed Wayfair still carried it but it was always going out of stock So this clock I soon noticed was not only desired by me but many others as well. Well finally I saw it in stock again and I was determined to not miss out this time. I love its elegance and I know that since its made by Bulova its bound to be a pretty reliable product.

My husband and I have owned one of these clocks for years, and always look forward to the holidays so we can display it along with our other Christmas decorations. The chimes have such a beautiful tone. We purchased this particular one to give to close friends as a housewarming gift for their new Florida home. We can't wait to give it to them, as they always rave about ours (clock) whenever they come to visit us at Christmas time.

Love this small Tabletop Clock by Howard Miller! It sits so cute on the mantle on top of the fireplace and has the little chimes that go off at the top of every hour. But for those that don’t like it or have guests that are annoyed by the chimes, you can turn them off (I love the chimes!!). This is a great purchase, did not disappoint!

This is a lovely clock and just what I was looking for. I had a large grandfather clock I loved for more than 40 years. I downsized recently, and it was just too large and too loud for the small space. This little clock is perfect. The chimes are light, the volume is adjustable so it's just right for my space, and I like that they turn off automatically at night. I looked at lots of clocks before choosing this one, and very happy with it. It's an excellent value, and the wood housing is fine quality.

We had a similar clock that was about 40 years old -- it passed on. I ordered this Humphrey Mantel Clock and didn't mention it to my husband. When I received the email it would be delivered Monday, I called to tell him he could open the box. When he called me he was pretty much speechless! I couldn't wait to get home that night. Absolutely beautiful! I am so happy with this purchase, exactly as pictured, a great size and we love it! Pros: Great finish and size. Cons: N/A

The clock comes with four hands. There’s a second hand which ticks and an alarm hand. We aren’t using this as an alarm clock. We are old and only want to see two hands so I removed the other two and now it’s easier for us to read. It’s well built and heavy. I’m pleased with my purchase.

I like that this clock has very clear print. I bought it for my son to use that can’t read a non digital clock yet and asks me the time for things. I also like that it dims slightly from 7pm-7am. The downside is it has to be plugged in. I wanted to hang it on the wall. It’s not charged and no batteries, just a plug. So, it’s only designed to sit on a table. That was not explained. I think for a digital clock, the price is about double what they typically cost. I’ve bought really nice Howard miller clocks for 1/3 the price. If one has poor vision, this clock would be perfect though. The font is large and sharp. Edit: I’ve had this at least a school year now and it’s great. I have it in my bedroom and can see it at night and my kids can read and understand. It has come in very handy with my poor vision at night and when I wake up in the morning.

This clock is just as described. It works perfectly - just need to have extra double AA batteries. Keeps perfect time. It is light weight metal and open on the backside- a bit disappointing but the front is lovely and fits in quite well with our rather eclectic home's style.
