Best Curtains & Drapes With Reviews

I purchased these curtains in vapor and love them! The blackout panel has almost a blue tint to it, but the sheer overlay is a creamier color ... so together they create a beautiful, balanced white. And, yes, the blackout curtains and sheet curtains are separate pieces, but you actually cannot tell once they are hung up! Some people have complained in reviews that the photos make the curtains appear to be one piece, BUT, they do look that way in person once hung up! We bought these in white for our nursery, and they couldn't be anymore perfect. While they are a bit wrinkled upon delivery, who wouldn't expect them to be?! I plan on using a steamer to smooth them out, so I'm not concerned about the wrinkles. Another note, you do not need a special curtain rod. I would highly recommend these curtains!

Was NOT expecting these curtains to be as nice as they are!! They hang beautifully in my bedroom and bring just the right touch of sheik that I was looking for in my otherwise simple modern bedroom. Tips 1) Make sure you measure from rod to floor to be sure you are ordering the correct length. Sheer is not the easiest material to hem up sew!! If you order these correctly, you can have a beautiful curtain that just sweeps your floor perfectly!! (If youre looking for floor length) 2) Expect your curtains to arrive wrinkled. Sheer is just one of those materials that no matter how carefully you fold it to ship, its going to get wrinkled. So please dont look at this as a strike against the curtain or Wayfair. Its just how sheer material itself is. But if you have a steamer you can fix it in minutes. I dont own a steamer so I got creative and took care of the wrinkles with my blow dryer and some dryer sheets. Hung my curtains, held a dryer sheet on each side of the curtain and ran them down the panels a few times, then used my blow dryer to blow the wrinkles out of each panel. It took a bit, but it worked!

I have a triple window measuring 105 inches wide. I bought 2 panels in mineral color - perfect!!! The color is very close to photo shown. Very happy with them!! The fabric weight is very good as I did not want anything real heavy. I can open/close curtain panels in the center with the wand, however they will stay open most of the time, so room darkening is not an issue. I want to see the sun whenever I can since I live in upstate New York (too many snowflakes this year!!) Curtains do need ironing (be sure to adjust iron temp) and definitely worth the time to do so. The price was unbelievably incredible!!! Lucky me! I had shopped at 4 other local stores to find panels in the same color shade. I planned to keep one style but then I looked on Wayfair. I admit I was hesitant because I wanted to see it up close & touch the fabric, but I took a gamble - and WON! I am so very happy I did!! No delivery issues either. 5 stars because they are perfect for the window.

After reading many reviews about insulated/blackout curtains, I felt it was still a crapshoot as you don't seem to know for sure till they arrive. As soon as I pulled these out of the box, I knew I hit the jackpot. The fabric feels great, they are heavy yet do not look bulky. They fall gracefully, the grommets are a great color and let the curtain hang well on the rod. Based on their weight and coverage, I am confident they will make an insulating difference on our 5 large picture windows during the cold Maine winters. They will additionally cut down some hot sun during the summer months. Another thing I am super happy about is that the back side of the drape is the same color as the side that faces your room. I wanted that as I did not want a black backing showing out the window, which many blackout curtains have. The photo that you see shows the attractive grommets as well as the well done backside of the curtain with stitching on the bottom hem. The fabric is gorgeous, you will not be disappointed. The tiebacks included are a plus which many curtains do not have.

Got the grey and loved them so much I ordered 4 more panels!!! I feel lucky to have stumbled across these curtains. The quality of these curtains is high. I did modify them a bit to give them a more modern look. I removed the top stitch which made two pockets at the top of the panel. The very top pocket was too small for the rod to go through. When the pocket below was used this created a “ruffle” effect with the empty, small, top pocket. Once the seam was removed, so too were the ruffles and top pocket. Now the very top of the panel sits directly on the rod yielding a highly modern, inviting look. Get these curtains, you won’t regret it!!! Makes my house feel like a home. Love!

These drapes are a good quality for the price. I purchased 20 panels for my upstairs windows and they look very nice. However, the packaging could be improved with the drape wrapped around a rounded piece of cardboard. They were folded flat with the thermal sides together and the combination of weight and heat pressed the folds into the drape. I tried to press them out but ended up washing and drying them and pressing with a steam iron. This was a lot of unnecessary work that might have been prevented with better packaging. Six of my twenty panels had a sewing defect. The tension on the bobbin apparently was not set correctly and the thread bunched up on the outside of the seam and one of the top seams had a one inch space that had not been sewn. They apparently had run out of thread and put in a new spool and left the space. However they did leave long strings at both places and I was able to thread a needle and sew this by hand. Two panels had gormmets that were not in correctly and will probably come out in the next wash. I did not return any of these as I put them in my sewing room where they will not be as noticed by company. I do like the looks of them once they were hung. I found that they do let in a little light when the sun is shining and that is ok with me as long as they keep out the heat and cold.

It was fun looking through the incredible large array of selections! and having purchased 2 end tables, other panels and ready to order a coffee table, Wayfair si definitely our go-to-place for many products. I was amazed that this curtains came out of the package and did not have a wrinkle. They are not lined but they do have a white backing which is good because I hung them on a window at the front of my house. Be aware that this is a rod pocket curtain and not a grommet curtain that is shown in some of the photos. Also, the rod pocket is at the very top of the curtain so there is nothing that sticks up above the curtain rod. You may or may not like that. I put in in place of curtains that did have a middle pocket and they still did not drag on the floor so I was happy about that. This is not a heavy curtain. It is not very room darkening. However, the colors are exactly as shown . . . I bought the cream background set. For the money I am very pleased. They arrived in just 2 days which was earlier than promised. The price is good considering this is a pair and not just one panel the way a lot of curtains are sold. I love them!

Gorgeous in every way! These are such a high end curtain panel that I can't believe they're not custom made! The velvet fabric is absolutely lush! Not only are they thermal lined, there is a bright white lining that shows from the street, which makes me very happy since I don't like unlined draperies. Plus, they're weighted at the bottom to help them hang properly. This is a feature you almost never find in non-custom draperies. There are 3 options for hanging, including an extra-wide rod pocket or from optional rings. Originally, my plan was to hang them from rings until they arrived and I discovered the 3rd option: velvet tabs. These are on the back and allow them to be hung like a grommet panel, minus the grommet. The pleats fold beautifully! I purchased these in taupe for a mini makeover of my master bedroom, which features shades of champagne, porcelain blue and taupe. These are the perfect finishing touch! Love! Love! Love! Did I say I loved them?

I love the curtains but ended up returning them because the product description was inaccurate. I thought I was buying a 20 % linen/80% polyester blend as described but the curtains were actually a 10% linen /90% Polyester blend. I already have 2 sets of this curtain that I bought last year with the 20/80 blend so I could feel the difference. I don't understand why it's been so hard finding the 20/80 blend and was happy when I thought that Wayfair had what I was looking for. Oh well... They are beautiful curtains though and if I didn't have to match my other sets. they would be fine. Customer service said they would make sure the description was updated.

These are simply gorgeous! Well made, lined thick and have that on trend natural handmade dye look that you just can not take your eyes off of. Also they have the proper weights at the bottom of each panel so they stay put. I always take my new drapes to the cleaners so they lay perfect and I never have to fuss again. So if you are like me it’s not a bad idea to do although they come packaged beautifully. I would buy these over and again if I were a house flipper. In every color! I got the Hold which has more of a modern Tuscany look rather than classic gold. This gold is earthy blending so fun with the white to bring your room to life. You can not be sad in the room these drapes are hung! In these times that is a huge bonus!

I didn’t know what to expect with these curtains. I’d never seen this design with the sheer fabric over the more solid fabric, so thought I’d give them a whirl in my bedroom. They really are perfect with a soft, flowing appearance. The deep lace at the top adds a very feminine feel. I purchased the beige color and with the off-white fine mesh-like sheer over the main fabric they show as more of a antique white than beige. Too girly for my living room, and maybe not the more formal, tailored look I prefer, but I definitely love them for my bedroom. As an additional plus, nearly all of the wrinkles fell out over a couple of days and they look pretty decent. I’ll still steam them, but they only need it in spots, and I fear the steam might encourage the mesh to stretch. Good look for the money, and the overall quality and workmanship are mediocre, but I think they will last for awhile even though they get the direct sun all morning. Happy with this purchase. Now to get my new bed put together...

I took these curtains out of the box and immediately fell in love. Within 5 minutes, I had them hung up on the window. These curtains are absolutely GORGEOUS. Seriously, folks, even the wrinkling was minimal, though if you want to really get rid of the light wrinkling, you could put them in the dryer with a damp towel for 20 minutes on low. I got the biscuit color. I have a white kitchen, so I didn't want anything too dark and this color was perfect. I would say the "biscuit" color is like a bone or dark ivory and it works well with my white walls. The star cutouts are also fantastic! I love a little bling, (and what girl doesn't?), so when I saw these curtains on Wayfair and saw the "sparkle" effect of the cutouts, I was in. When they're drawn closed and the outside light shines through, it looks like strings of fairy lights are illuminating the room. The number of stars is just the right amount, too--not too many and not too few. Yes, one or two cutouts were still kind of hanging on, not separated from the fabrication, but so what. Just pull them off. The cutouts are exactly 1/2" tall which gives the proper illusion from a distance. The tulle fabric that overlays the blackout fabric is so light and gauzy and softens the look in such a lovely way. The grommets are large enough to slide open and closed on the rod very easily. The blackout curtain isn't exactly blackout, though. Personally, to me it's more of a room darkening fabrication, but it works for my kitchen. It keeps that intense heat out on the west side of the house quite nicely. All I cared about was the decorative quality of the cutouts and I got that, so I'm very, very happy with these and once again, pretty impressed with the quality that Wayfair carries. Giving these a SOLID 5 stars and more, if I could.

Very beautiful, but these curtains run SHORT, so be mindful of that. Mine are 82", not 84" and have a very short hem on both ends. If your curtain rods are high above the window, as I are mine, these curtains are too short. I use mine in a bedroom as part of a fake window to brighten the room, so the length does not matter that much to me, because they are gathered to the side. However, if you plan to use them on tall windows on tall walls, these curtains are definitely too short, as you can see on the photos I attached. I use wallaces over the curtains so the gap is not visible. Also, if they shrink in washing, I'll need to sew some extra fabric on the top, which will be hidden under the walaces. I'm good with sewing machine, so it's not a problem for me. I might even purchase an extra pair to use the fabric to sew in the extra length. Over all at below $20/2 it is a great deal, although not for every window and not for every room. Great for patio doors and small windows, or as a sewing project.

I spent a lot of time reading descriptions and reviews for curtains and after a lot of "this or that" made this choice. I like the pattern, not overly bold; just a nice accent to the room arrangement and colours. I have yet to hang them but they will work well for the room of destination. I am only a little disappointed that the thermal darkening liner is a grey and not a white. The overall colour is not as bright white as pictured on the store online photo but for my arrangement, it will work. Generally, the overall quality appears to be good and I expect no other issues than the very slight disappointment just mentioned.

Love these curtains! I ordered them in navy and the color is perfect. Not an overly bright shade of navy blue, but more of a muted darker shade, which I actually prefer. The background is not white. It’s almost like a linen texture that is a darker beige with grays mixed in. These seem pretty thick and durable and any wrinkles they may have had while in their packaging fell out about an hour or so after they were hung up. I didn’t buy them for the blackout feature, but if you are, be aware that they are not 100 light blocking. I can tell when it’s daylight out, but no direct sunbeams are getting through or anything like that. My house is still dark during the day if I leave them closed, so I guess it would depend on how sensitive you are. Overall, these curtains are awesome and you should definitely buy them!

I had these pink curtains sent to my Friend in advance of my move to her location. So I havent yet personally seen. She says they are gorgeous! Read the reviews. Needed both heat protection from strong summer sun, and the privacy afforded by the room darkening. Did not want just light filtering. These drapes will do an awesome job of meeting all 3 needs. Stopping the heat... ac wont have to work so hard. Providing complete privacy after dark has fallen. And provide a beautiful, classy backdrop for my other furnishings. Thank you SO much! Now... the perfect color and material in a sofa that I can sleep on when guests come. Will give them the Master Bedroom Suite. A kitchen table that will fit my limited space, but still allow expansion for 6-8 guests, a stylish large rug to create a space upon which to arrange my furniture and I am all set for the new, refreshed and exciting life God has opened the door wide upon. Hard year for many. Our Family lost 3 members and a dear friend. 2 to COVID. So ready for better months in 2022. As I know many people are. Thank you for helping me create a new life and surround myself with beautiful and quality items.

Update Room almost done. These are perfect! I bought too many panels, but I like the full look. I think I’ll try taking down some and see if I like it better. They keep the room dark enough in the morning to sleep in and the keep the heat and cold out. I have it on a one inch rod, which probably isn’t sturdy enough to hold all those panels. I was a little disappointed that the grommets weren’t oiled brass, but I knew that when I ordered and it really doesn’t detract from the look. I am considering sewing the panels together so that light cannot come through where the panels come together. They are relatively heavy with this many panels, so the support bracket in the middle is advisable. I decided to leave it off, because using it on a slider, and we like to open it all the way in the morning and mid afternoon. They are romantic, and go perfect with my French country look. I love these curtains! I bought some like these in a pale blue color for a guest room a while back and I knew I needed curtains like this in my master Suite. I ordered these in beige. I have yet to install them since my room is still under construction. I’ll update with pictures once they are up.

I ordered the Schaeffer Solid Blackout Thermal Grommet Curtain Panels in the light gray color. The quality far exceeded my expectations. I was reluctant to purchase curtains, because the return policy is not free. I had purchased a couple sets from near by discount stores but the color did not match my new bedding set. After returning them, I decided to try Wayfair. I am so glad that I did. It worked out perfectly. The color was exactly what I needed. Also note that the Schaeffer curtains have four columns and many of the other curtains only have three. This was a big plus for me. I also ordered a pair of sheers from another brand in Silver from Daxin Solid Sheer Vaile Rod Pocket (Lucento). The color of the Silver sheers were darker than the light gray curtains, but it made a beautiful combination with my bedding set. They matched perfectly, and the quality far exceeded my expectations. Both orders came in a set which I liked much better.

I had originally purchased another brand of blackout curtain panel for my slider patio door but the color when it came, wasn't what it looked like in the photo on the website. I took a chance and ordered another brand of a blackout curtain despite not knowing what to expect regarding the accuracy of color. I ordered this curtain in Olive and when I opened the package that it came neatly folded in, the color was perfect! It's definitely true olive and not sage green so be aware of this when you order it. Not only was I pleased with the color match but the fabric is so nice, very luxurious feeling and heavy enough to make it do it's job which is blacking out light/sound. A couple of things that worked better for me than the first brand that I tried: 1. These panels are a bit longer in length than the previous ones which didn't hang down to the ground. They both said they were 100 inches in length but this must not be an exact measurement. The point of having a blackout curtain is to cover the most square feet as possible to block air/light so these panels do a better job of that with the extra length and extra width. For me, these worked better because the grommets were antique brass instead of nickel which is what most of the blackout curtains have. Because the curtains were neatly packaged, wrinkles were at a minimum as compared to the other brand I first tried. They pleat nicely and even though I haven't made any attempt to get the original wrinkles out, they seem to be less noticeable in the few days that they've been up. One difference between the panel I originally purchased and this brand is that this one does not come with a "pull" to open or close them. It has a tie-back but this isn't for the same purpose as the plastic pull that comes with some of the other blackout curtains. I just pull them open or closed at the top and make sure the pleats are even by hand, so I don't miss the pull not being there. I don't think you would be disappointed ordering these if the color is what you expected and works for you as this one did for me. In addition, Wayfair's customer service is so awesome and they will work with you until you're satisfied if you have a problem. That is one reason Wayfair is my go-to online company for this type of purchase.
