A nice eclectic piece. I originally wanted it for my mantle, but the color and size looked better grouped with some other items. As far as sound- The ticking is very faint.. can hear it when within about 2 feet and it’s quiet in the room. There is a back that looks metal but is nice quality plastic you remove to put battery in.

This clock was the perfect size and added a nice pop of color to our entryway table. It is a quiet clock.

I love this! It’s pretty and simply made. It ticks but not loud enough… it’s shocking how difficult it is to find a clock that ticks loudly enough. This is a me thing and doesn’t reflect poorly on the clock at all.
