I bought the nickel rod. It was easy enough to cut and install if you have a second set of hands just to hold it steady. I scuffed it a little bit in the cut/install but that was on me. It's held up great for a year now without any rust or blemishes. It's sagging just a little bit at the corner, but not too bad. I would try to use a lighter weight shower curtain with this, but I'd buy it again.

Most places don't care about customer service anymore. This is the opposite for Wayfair. They go above and beyond to make sure u are happy. I ordered bath faucets, shower head and other things for a bath remodel and there was a problem with the faucets. However, it was no fault of Wayfairs. They still tried everything they could to remedy my problem. They e-mailed back and forth and actually conversed on the phone as well. When they could not fix the problem they refunded the total so I could go elsewhere if need be to order what I needed. I will recommend them to anyone and I certainly will do business with them again. I actually have ordered since all of this happened. Very pleased with their customer service.

If youre looking for a good addition to a bathroom with bronze fixtures I recommend this in the bronze finish! The angles give it a clean, modern look and the more copper coloured edges make it more interesting. Was a little confusing to put up, but not rocket science. The screws are a little larger other fixtures so make sure you have a drill bit the right size. The curve is a good depth making my 30-inch wide tub feel much roomier.

In a nutshell: The item was shipped promptly and arrived in excellent condition All the parts were wrapped or boxed to protect the finish. All the screws and installation parts were included. Installation was straight forward. The rod looks great after the install. More details: My husband is very handy, and did an extra step that helped the installation go very smoothly. He noticed a few burrs on the inside of the cut brackets that receive the curved rod (normal after cutting metal). He used a small metal file to smooth the burrs before installation. This allowed the rod to slide smoothly inside the brackets so that the rod could be adjusted and secured with the supplied set screws. I don't know how this will hold up over time - we just installed it yesterday - but it looks beautiful now.

The shower curtain rod looks just as pictured. It's very sturdy; the bracket at each end is made of solid, cast metal. Some buyers wrote that after installing the first bracket, the rod got in the way of screwing in one of the screws on the second bracket. They decided to live with it, one screw missing. The trick is to screw both brackets into the wall before adding the rod. Then, if the rod is the right length, you can push it all the way into the first bracket, swing the rod to line up with the second one, and they don't hit each other. The last step is to slide the rod so it's halfway in each bracket, and tighten the tiny set screws. Too bad the instructions don't explain this. So, you might need a hacksaw. Cutting the rod isn't tough if you have some way to hold it down. The cut doesn't have to be perfect since nobody will see it.

Very nice looking chrome square rod and solid brackets. Very unique. Four stars instead of five because there needs to be a formula for measuring and cutting the rod to the right length for it to engage into the wall brackets. We had to cut the rod twice in order to get the right length which was a hassle. They need to figure out a formula such as "measure the distance between the walls and subtract ........ inches" and then cut the bar to that length.

Well after 4 tries of ordering this I finally got it.... first Wayfair cancelled on me, then the next two they sent two shower trims instead of a curtain rod and finally got this one a month later which is what I ordered. Installation takes a while for tile and instructions do not tell you drill bit sizes for tile install only drywall or stud... which typically showers have tiles that this will go on. Doesn't tell you measurements either for making sure wall holes match up. Looks good though once installed.

The shower rod appeared VERY quickly, within two days of the order. It was left at the door in a dilapidated box, both ends open, box completely split apart. The rod was not in the accompanying plastic bag but the parts and instructions were in the sealed bag. Nothing was damaged! The matte black rod itself was shorter than 60 inches so there were silver metal gaps showing between the rod and the supports which my husband covered with black tape. If the metal inserts had been painted matte black too, it would have been better.

Beautiful!! It was fairly easy to install, but I am a perfectionist and it took me a while to get all the measurements that would put the rod in the right place so the curtain would hang down to just an inch off the floor. And also to ensure the curve would offer the extra room where it is needed. I read the directions several times and I thought I had it all figured out. However, I somehow missed the part about inserting the plastic piece between the two rods. It also was not clear which end was to be inserted into which rod. I resorted to carefully prying it out, but it stretched a tiny bit and would no longer go into the piece correctly. So now whenever I move the shower curtain, that piece comes along with it.

Like the double rod so I can hang a water-resistant shower curtain on the inside & a decorative curtain on the outside. Also, it's great that both are curved, giving more space within the tub/shower area. I bought the polished chrome to match the other fixtures & it was a good match. The only challenge is to either slide curtain rings onto the rods before attaching rods to the wall or get rings that clip over the rods. As with all rods that are not one solid piece, you must be careful when sliding the curtain over the sections where they meet so you don't pull the curtain down from the ring (tearing it).

I purchased a very nice ocean scene shower curtain. Two actually but one just wasn't desirable and the other is nice, but didn't give me the effect I was hoping for. I decided to use it as a backdrop instead. I needed an adjustable shower curtain I could install. Viola! Now I have what feels like actually being in the ocean when I take a bath, or a feeling of showering outdoors with the ocean in the background. Sometimes you have to get really clever to get the feeling you're looking for!

minor glitch - it is a little bumpy to pull curtain hooks over the connection between the two parts of the rod. I got it because I thought it would be easier on the contractor than cutting a solid piece rod to size. He said it would have been no trouble for him. Still, a good looking rod with nice finials and probably easier for a do-it-yourself installer.. Pros: easy to install and very sleek looking. Cons: a little bumpy in the middle.

This curtain rod is EXCELLENT!!! It adds more space to the shower/tub area when showering. It was very, very, easy to put together and install and is well made. The directions were good and easy to follow. What I really appreciate is that it did not have to be screwed into the wall. I didn't want to damage the tiles and the ratings/reviews I saw on Wayfair made me feel very comfortable about purchasing the rod. While the shower curtain and liner are not "heavy" the tension rod is sturdy enough to hold very heavy curtains and liners. Thanks to the well designed covers at the ends of the rod which snap in place the rod does not look like a tension rod, it looks like it has been professionally attached to the wall. The brushed nickel matches all the other fixtures in the bathroom. Nice job Wayfair on the quick shipping and quality packaging which made sure it arrived without a scratch, and I really appreciate the ability to find just what I needed with Wayfair and get it quickly rather than having to run all over town. After reading many reviews about this, I figured that I could figure this stuff out. Well let's just say I definitely understand why some would have a more difficult time figuring this out. If you do not get it exactly aligned, the rod may slip down eventually. And if your surface is not smooth then the rod won't hold up. If your arms get numb after 5 minutes of trying to figure this out while holding up the rod and twisting and twisting, then ask someone else to help you. :) It didn't take me longer than 10 minutes to install but it was after realizing that I had to make sure my surface is clean and dry and that I have to get the rod aligned exactly or one end will tend to slip down with any added tension (i.e. hanging of the curtains). However, is it the most strong rod to hold up heavy stuff? Uh, no. Let's be real here. It uses "suctioning" (if that) method so it won't be as strong as if you nailed it to the wall. If you're looking to hang multiple towels or clothes or if your wall is super smooth and slippery for whatever reason, then you might hear a crash, ping, crack in the middle of the night. It's not a burglar. It's your rod that has fallen. I purchase this particular rod for my very teeny bathroom. I hung only a clear curtain because the see through curtain makes my bathroom appear bigger. :0 I bought the company's roller rings and they work well together. :) I will buy again.

Installed this today by myself. Could not find the directions anywhere in the box, so attempted to just install. How hard could it be? lol turns out next to impossible. You really need the directions (which are printed on the back of the box). This is not an intuitive thing to put up as one might think. You have to pop off the end caps which almost feels like you are going to break them. I only figured this out because on the directions its shows them off, but doesn't tell you how to get them off. Once you get past that installation isn't too bad, I imagine it would have been easier 1. if I had another person helping or 2. if I were taller. It is a beautiful curtain rod and cant beat it for the price. I would definitely recommend.

Installed the shower rod, and to my dismay, i didn't have wood behind the anchor locations as i thought i would. I added studding when remodelling but missed the location by an inch or so. Used the supplied anchors and they were absolutely junk. These are the metal style that flare out when screw is tightened and are fairly stout. The ones supplied didn't work well, and actually twisted instead of flaring. I'd suggest picking up better anchors to use if needed, and not rely on the ones supplied. I'll likely cut out drywall and get some wood behind the drywall to anchor to so i get a good solid install.

Pretty much exactly what you expect. Image represents it well. Looks nice. My only concern is that the rods coming out of the wall wiggle a little and I’m going to have to be VERY careful to not tug or put weight on it. But I’ll give it a shot.
