Best Shower Baskets & Shelves With Reviews

These shelves are beautiful and very functional. I didn’t want niches in our remolded master bath, do opted for these chrome shelves. A very sleek, modern look. They are perfectly crafted, no scratches or rough parts. Our contractor installed them with ease they came with all of the necessary items to hang and even had nice chrome caps to cover the screws. Overall, very pleased!

The actual shelves are excellent quality and very beautiful, which is why I’m still giving 4 stars. As other reviews mention, the suction cups are worthless. They kept the shelves up for maybe 10 minutes before they slid and fell off. Plus I found the suction cups bulky and they were visible behind the shelf when hung on the wall. I purchased Command bath tape strips, but those didn’t work (don’t waste your time). I ended up using clear bathroom silicone caulk to adhere these to my shower wall. The shelves are pretty heavy, so be prepared to have something hold the shelf in place while the caulk sets I didn’t have clamps, so I used gorilla tape which worked great. So far, so good shelves seem to be sturdy in place. Given the hassle of the install, I’d say the shelves are a bit overpriced.

This product came packaged very well. The glass is clear and of a good thickness. The only drawback - for us - is that we installed it on tile, and it took a long time to drill out the holes. More expensive than glass shelves at other sites, but we wanted a shelf this size.

Very thin compared to “Jade Bath SPC Niches”, available on WF, but they’re too wide for this application, (trying to use the narrow stud spaces for a bath water filtration unit). This brand is double the price and is barely strong enough, needing accurate wall framing surrounding it. It doesn’t flex, but I think it is likely to be brittle, although it is stated to be ABS. It is not cracked, (I checked),so it will be waterproof as long as it is not struck with a hammer or screws overtightened. It is a challenge to get marble thin enough to retain the interior space. The interior dimensions are 5-34” x 13-58”, at the front edge, FYI to anyone interested.

I've had this teak tray for about a year now. It goes with with my Kohler bath bar and it has been a great addition. I'm glad I purchased it for my two showers. It holds several bottles of shampoo, conditioner, liquid bath soap etc. The slit on the front allows my razor to hang along with hooks for bath mitts and a back brush.

Wow- we were blown away when we saw this piece installed. No more going back to old ugly, basic grab bars- this elevates the shower stall to a whole new level. Having the seamless glass doors you really notice what's in a shower and this makes it so attractive and adds so much to it. Love it ! Really completed the beautiful shower.

I have yet to install this as our project is still under construction. I can comment on the fit & finish, and I will say that they are on par with what you would expect from Kohler. All the hardware & fittings for our master bath remodel are from Kohler. While they are not cheap, they are not prohibitively expensive, and more importantly their quality is superb. To be more detailed, I am pleased that these shelves are large enough to handle the oversize bottles that are so common today. The small hole to hold a razor is a pleasant bonus as it renders unnecessary another shelf/holder. The primary reason I choose these was because we spent a fair bit of time & money to create upscale bath, and the standard wire shower caddy’s looked cheap and shoddy in a nicer setting. These shelves were more modern without being starkly different, and we were able to match the brushed nickel finish to all our fixtures. Finally, a note on installation. As I indicated, I have yet to install these, but I have tested the mounting brackets and found them to well designed & manufactured. The invisible mounting brackets are quite clever. I read where others had challenges installing them, but I suspect they simply did a poor job of aligning the brackets with the shelf. You do need to be more than merely competent to install these correctly.

Solid and sturdy. When mounting in an existing shower, try to screw into a stud (rather than using molly bolts). If you can't go into a stud, you'll have to go purchase molly bolts, as they are not included. The soap holder is rubber and a little cheap, but it's nice that they include it. Our tile guy just hung these shelves up yesterday, so we haven't gotten them wet yet, but I don't anticipate any issues (they are Kohler, afterall!). We installed over an existing tile shower.

These are good quality and very attractive, my only gripe was that I thought a "medium" wouldn't be quite so much bigger than the "small"; we got them to go together (one for soap one for shampoo) and thy look a bit too large with the small ones. Very useful though, and we had a hard time finding corner shelves, so overall we're very pleased.

Just what I was looking for. Nice size to store those most frequently used items. Have not had any issues with this basket adhering to my tile walls. The basket is wide enough to hold toiletry items, but not so wide that it interferes with showering activity.

Since I am in the planning of the full renovation of my main bathroom - since accessories are the jewelry of a room. this shelf - although - rather $$$ expensive it is a perfection in quality and appeal. The only - itch!!! - I have over interpreted 1.9kg as pounds - where as the real weight is 4 lbs just for the shelf !!! Pretty heavy and I am concerned that it will stay on the tiled wall! FR

Excellent shower shelf. Our contractor installed 2 of these in our recent bathroom remodeling. Each shelf can easily hold 4 containers at 12-14 ounces each. The shelves simply drilled into place. I don't know what the installation process would be in an existing bathroom, in this install our contractor had wood behind the wall to drill into for support. These are extremely easy to keep clean. When we remodel our other bathroom I would definitely use these again.

Delivery was handled and packaged nicely but arrived 2 days later than initially scheduled. With regards to the product specs listed on the Wayfair website, the items I received were slightly smaller than advertised. I noticed the box indicated the items are stainless steel with a brushed "nickel" finish, which is nice. However, the items are described as stainless steel with a brushed "chrome" finish. In any event, the items should NOT rust. Although, I haven't installed the items yet, there's some prep work on the tile grout and tile surface that I have to tackle. No significant issues foreseen.

we have a small bench in the corner of the shower. We needed something for shampoo and bath gel which was raised up to allow water to drain but did not want to attach it to the marble walls of the shower. We got this, turned it upside down and it sits on top of the corner bench. We did not need to attach it. Works great Pros: perfect size. no rust. drains well. sturdy

Looks nice in the show and it was easy to install with diamond drill bit. I gave 4 stars because I had this same style shelf at my old house and it didn't have the big metal covers over the screw holes. I think the other one I had looked a bit more streamlined but if you have never had one of these then you would never know

This is a nice add-on to a tub or shower enclosure that doesn't have an embedded niche or shelf. It's cleaner than a standalone soap dish and looks better than the ceramic soap dishes that are installed with tile. It can hold shampoo (one to two bottles) or soap. It must be screwed into a wall so it will leave holes in your tile but I've had this installed for years without any rusting or tarnish.

High quality. Easy to install but make sure you have the right tools (diamond glass/tile bit and hammer drill for me). I installed ours on tile and used a 1/4" bit. Should have used the 3/16" bit because the plastic anchors that came with this were too small for the 1/4" holes. Problem solved with a trip to hardware store for larger plastic anchors, but this is why I removed a star. There where no installation instructions in box. Not a sinlge piece of paper. I would have appreciated even the simplest of directions that at least told me what size bit to use

if you want something useful in your bathroom that seems to disappear and let your good taste do all the talking, these shelves are for you. they are thick glass, quite substantial--so get any notions of 'glass houses' out of your head--these won't break. their clever shape makes plenty of space while taking up very little 'moveable space', meaning space you're likely to find your body. they're out of the way and convenient and invisible--what more could you ask of a friend?

Very nice! Looks pretty next to my tub. Will send pic soon. It fell just using the sticky so my husband is going to have to screw it in the wall. I’m sure I will not want to remove it later because it looks so nice so I’m not worried about using screws to hold it.
