If I could, I’d rate as a 3.7. Being a 400 thread count, they aren’t as soft and smooth as you’d find in the luxurious 700 thread count realm. But what I really like is the quality build that you can feel from the sheer weight of each piece. They are very substantial and the fitted sheet has very strong elastic bands (see pic). I haven’t had them long enough to test the “no pill” promise on the package, but I’m hopeful! One last thing, they arrived with a strong chemical odor that definitely had to be washed before you slept on them, and they stay pretty wrinkled (see pic), almost like a linen material. I have not used these sheets yet. They seem nice but they are not what I ordered. The label calls them combed cotton, not Egyptian-quality cotton sateen. They definitely do not have that feel I am used to with Egyptian cotton, but I will keep them. I ordered two different sets of sheets and neither are the ones advertised. These sheets are definitely wrinkle resistant! For 100 percent cotton, I was pleasantly surprised at now nice they came out of the dryer. They have a nice sateen finish and because they contain no synthetic fibers, they feel light and breathable. The hems are all nicely sewn and the fitted sheet has ample room for a thicker mattress. Gorgeous comfortable sheets. The teal is on the green side. I bought a comforter that was teal but was wrong size . I’m keeping these sheets and changing my color scheme the are so beautiful and comfortable. Fit my 15” mattress after washing in cool water with woolite dark and tumble dry on low.
