Very soft couple loose strings but warm washes great and holds up to two cats a dog and toddler. I like that its not super heavy or hot I live the Midwest and like a mixture of all weather blankets. My cats love cuddling up to it and pet hairs seem to wash up off of it pretty easily. Dries great in dryer on medium and doesnt shock the bats out of you upon taking out of the dryer.. Christina.
