Would have given this a 5 star except that the wire did fray (as another reviewer mentioned) when we cut it to shorten the cord length, and we had to put tape over it to get it through the fixture to hang. However, the most aggravating thing were the plastic screw/clamps that hold the cord. One of them split, but my handy husband rigged a way to hold the cord without it. As for the patina, it's not colorful as someone else mentioned, but it is antiqued enough for what we wanted. These pendant lights are very lightweight, so when hung, the wire doesn't automatically straighten out. They're nice looking, but I just don't love them...They look a tiny bit cheap & are not as nice looking as I thought they'd be.
