I ordered the Tuscany fixed side convertible crib and I am very pleased with the crib. 5 Stars is not enough. It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! Very easy to put together, very sturdy and absolutely Gorgeous. The price is low for the quality of the crib. My husband is a perfectionist and a home builder and he was very impressed with the quality of the product as well. And that doesn't happen EVER. He always finds something wrong. But not with this product.. I will most definitely order more products for the home and office through Wayfair.

Pros: Very strong, sturdy and easy to assemble. Delivery was extremely fast. Product arrived in perfect condition.
Cons: Absolutely no complaints.

Great quality for great value

from Upstate, NY on 09/07/2012 – Verified Buyer

We did a lot of research on cribs and had very little to spend on one. You can find ANYTHING you'd like in cribs if money is no object, however for the majority, we are always looking for the best quality product we can buy within the price we are willing or able to pay.
This crib is extremely sturdy, all wood construction, except for the board that the mattress is put on. I was afraid it was going to be flimsy and bendy but it was in fact heavy, thick, and sturdy.
Other reviews commented on smell but you will notice that most of those had the espresso finish. I believe that is a finish result only. We ordered the honey oak and there was absolutely no smell at all. It smelled just like wood actually.
Packaging came undamaged and inside was wrapped very well.
I will say to read the instructions first. They are not very clear but we assembled this in about a half hour. And notice that there will be some hardware left over.
We are very pleased with this crib and have received many compliments on it. Great value, great product, and would definitely recommend this to someone shopping on a budget.

baby crib

from Shamong, NJ on 07/06/2014 – Verified Buyer

Good quality crib. A little hard to put together, but all parts were there and non were damaged and fit together nicely. Was a little disappointed that the wood support that holds the mattress board was not stained. It does show a little so I had to buy stain and try and match it. Also would have been a little happier if the screws matched or you couldn't see them as much. Good heavy, sturdy crib.

Beautiful piece of furniture!

from Winston Salem, NC on 12/16/2014 – Verified Buyer

I bought this for my grandson's nursery who is set to arrive in early February. My son and daughter-in-law LOVE this crib! It is absolutely gorgeous; it is a very sturdy and solid piece of furniture with a beautiful espresso color! It was easy to put together, under an hour, but it does require two people.

They love that it is a convertible piece of furniture that can be used for many years - very cost effective - and it is a lot less inexpensive than what you would find at a large retail store like Babies 'R' Us! Another feature that they adore are the soft edges, nothing sharp or pointy.

Overall, GREAT product! Thanks!

This review is based off of set up and look, no baby yet to reference ease of use.

The Crib went up fairly easy. If you follow the directions it's very easy. I messed up a few pieces because I wasn't following the directions closely. But all in all it went well. I highly recommend having 2 people for the build because some of the pieces are hard to manage and fit in correctly by yourself. With 2 people I'd say this is a very easy build. The one major downfall to the crib's build is that some of the sockets where the bolts go are too long for the tool provided. So you either have to be okay with slightly damaging the paint around the holes in order to get it tight or sacrifice on the tightness. I ended up using my own allen key to get it tight and not damage the paint. I'd say this is the one major flaw in the design.

Once it's built it looks really good, the pieces all fit together nicely and the unit feels very sturdy. Adjusting the height of the mattress will be challenging due to the placement of the screws and the general design. But clearly the design is more to make it sturdy than ease of transition. I'm not too worried about dropping the mattress down and even though it wont be as easy as some other cribs, I'm more than happy with the set up.

I would have given the crib a 5 star designation except for a few of the design flaws and tools provided issue. Overall, its a great looking crib that I set up by myself in about a half hour and that was while making a few mistakes.

I found this crib a real pain to put together. I also have another crib that I bought from a box store and it was a breeze to set up. This one was tricky since it was different heights in the front and back and the rails come seperatly so trying to hold them up and on while assembly was a TASK. I had to do it alone too since the toddler needed to be watched and I let my husband do that since I tend to be better at putting things together. (not to say he can't, he is very capable but Im just normally pretty apt at this kind of thing and I'm the bossy kind too) :) but having said all that I thought this was a little tricky for the reasons I mentioned. It just felt like so many pieces. I prefer it when there are 4 sides only and thats it. BUT it does look more special than your typical crib which is something.
I bought this for my toddler who likes the crawl out of the bed and so I wanted to put the mattress right on the ground and use it like a bed/cage (HA!) to prevent him from crawling out and hurting himself. (I'm also so not ready to deal with him being able to get out of a big boy bed and not sleep)
so anyhow, it really doesn't work for a mattress right on the ground since the back gap at the bottom is huge and he would be able to put his whole arm through (and hurt himself) so I have to use ANOTHER mattress to prop it all up and its still just not ideal. SO, if you need it for this random reason than this is not a good bed for you but for normal purposes I suspect it would be great.
it looks good, was inexpensive and wayfarer delivered it with no issues. (if you can get 2 people to put it together with some patience that is!)

This has been great for our daughter. The espresso color was rich and looked great in her pinkish-peach room. We put on a breathable bumper for a little while when she was starting to stick her feet through the slats, but there was never an issue. We recently converted it to a toddler bed and she loves it. It's the perfect height off the ground for her to climb into and the side rail that came with it is short, but seems to keep her in place. She did put a couple of teeth marks into it, but we've had no problems with the paint or quality in the 2+ years we've been using it and our newest addition will be using this crib when she's born in October.

This crib came quickly and is great quality. I had registered for this exact crib but found it at wayfair for a much lower price and decided to just make the purchase myself. I was nervous when the box arrived because it was pretty banged up looking but the packaging protected the actual crib and it turns out only the outer box was damaged. It was not too difficult to put together , especially once I got the hang of the bolts. It took me about 2 hours to put the crib together. It seems sturdy and the color is perfect.

It is a very nice looking crib and I would have given it a 5 except for one design issue. The fasteners that hold it all together do not match the gray wood finish but are silver and slightly smaller than a dime so the stand out quite a bit as they are on the outside, both top & bottom along the front and the sides. This detracts from the overall sleek design. I think I will probably try to buy some matching gray spray paint and try to make them blend in better. But the overall design and construction of this crib it good and easy to match with other baby furniture.
