I am presently surprised with this step stool. I admit I chose it for the color but I’m very glad I did. The step stool is extremely sturdy and I don’t feel unsafe using it, even as a plus size gal. It has a safely latch to make sure it can’t close when you don’t want it to. It also folds up very thin and can fit between my refrigerator and wall giving me a place out of the way to store it, yet close enough for me to grab when I need something off the top shelf. This is just the right height for me to get into my VERY tall bed easily, and it seems really sturdy. The thing I would change is that the top is VERY smooth, and I could easily see myself swinging out of bed and slipping off. I put two strips of gripper tape for stairs on it, and it will be fine - I happened to have some in the house. I wouldn’t recommend using it without doing that first.. Carol.
