Not to big easy setup the fact that you can add more trays is great. I put casters on the bottom of mine so I can move it around without having to lift the whole bin.

Works as promised!

from Chamberlain, SD on 09/10/2015 – Verified Buyer

I have used my Worm Factory composter for about a year now and it has worked as well as one could hope. I keep it in my front foyer and have never had any odor and it is not bad looking. We had a bit if a fruit fly issue, but I added more moist paper covering and it stopped. The vermicompost is great, odorless and plants love it. My son used five gallon buckets for yeas and they worked, but it was funky looking. He also uses a worm factory and thinks it is great. Pros: Easy to get started; easy to use; sturdy; functional, not a decorator piece, but not ugly either(matter of taste naturally); it works! Cons: It doesn't have a buzzed to let you know when the worms need food. I am joking. No cons.

Good place to keep worms active all winter

from Staunton, VA on 10/31/2015 – Verified Buyer

Made my own somewhat larger worm farm in the Spring. Worms are hard at work, but I am worried that they'll freeze this winter, so purchased the Worm Factory for use in the basement during the coldest months. Pros: reasonable price; easy assembly; light weight Cons: haven't used it enough yet to notice any problems

Good start for going even greener

from Tucson, AZ on 09/21/2015 – Verified Buyer

I've wanted for some time to get at least a modest start in composting, and once I have worms in hand--or should I say in the bin?--this system strikes me as a very useful one, and is not going to take up a lot of space in my smallish back yard.

Purchased worms separately and have been feeding them kitchen scraps happily for the last month. Surprisingly easy with the help of the how-to video and booklet, included. Highly recommend.

Vermicomposting for Dummies

from Garfield Hts., OH on 03/08/2014 – Verified Buyer

This system is great. It comes with a really useful book that will pretty much teach you everything you need to know! Keep it in the basement or near the kitchen's garbage can. Once you get it started, there's only a bit of easy maintenance. It's not very hard at all. If you're interested in vermicomposting, but don't know where to start, why not give this system a try?

Great Urban Composter

from Binghamton, NY on 06/02/2014 – Verified Buyer

I live in an apartment and wanted a no-hassle way to compost, and my friend suggested this one. I've had it only for about a month, but so far it's been great. It was easy to set up and get started, and so far I haven't had any problems with odor or pests. Great for anyone looking for an easy indoor way to compost.

Great product for home vermicomposting...

from Fort Lewis, WA on 03/31/2015 – Verified Buyer

No complaints here. I've had mine for years and it works great. I just bought 20 for my organization to give away to the local community to promote home-composting.

A bit fiddly but it works, lid could do with being a little sturdier. Good compost.

A little Smaller than I thought but it will work.

from Montara, CA on 01/27/2015 – Verified Buyer

Not as sturdy as Worm Farm brand but it will do. A bit overpriced for the quality.
