Rectangle 8' x 10'

Flatwoven in India, this rug is crafted from 100% cotton and features a stylish geometric diamond pattern in neutral hues that complement your current color palette. It's low .25" pile height is perfect for high-traffic rooms like the kitchen, bathroom, and other spots prone to spills and stains. When it comes time for a refresh, this piece is best washed by cleaning professionals. And to prevent your rug from slipping and sliding, we recommend pairing it with a rug pad.

Overall I'm very happy with this purchase. I was looking for a wide runner in this woven style but was unable to find anything close to the 3' width I wanted. Being fairly good at diy projects, I decided to order two of the 3' x 5' Akihiro Geometric in green and pull the weaving on one end of each rug and knot them together to make a 10' runner. In my mind I was thinking, "This shouldn't be too difficult" haha. Well, it ended up being a painstaking project that I worked on for most of the weekend. Looking back, I would have chosen an easier way to do this than to individually knot each strand from each rug (see pic). I also should have paid closer attention to matching up the design as i pieced them together. Overall I'm satisfied, and the rug feels really nice to stand on during my long hours in the kitchen. The 3' width, and finsl 10' length provides comfort all down the length of my galley-style kitchen (look at the pic of the rug on my floor and you'll see how the final seam turned out). I placed a slip resistant material underneath, which also provides additional cushioning. I plan on spraying with a waterproofer or protector of some sort to help alleviate stains since it's now too large to machine wash. I love the design, color, and quality. Definitely recommend (though not recommending my diy project). I would not hesitate to purchase these rugs again, and definitely recommend them.. Renee. OH. Sun Mar 12 2023
