These bar stools are very mid century modern retro. From the curved wood legs and arm chair lines to the blue chenille fabric shell back seat, all around gives that mid century vibe. The directions on how to put them together were not in the box, but thankfully it was very easy to figure out.  I purchased these as an open box item and I could be happier about the deal I got and the quality of the stools. They were brand new and looked like they had never been opened. They are very stable and comfortable. I was a bit concerned with how firm the seat was to begin with, but after a week of use the seat is starting to give enough to feel comfortable. The seat backs were comfortable from the very beginning. The swivel is very smooth and swivels a fil 360. Overall I am thrilled with this purchase and very happy I got them at a third of the price.
