These corbels work well for our mantel situation, although for my personal taste, I wish they were a bit less detailed. They are exactly as advertised. I couldn’t find exactly what I wanted in the right size, and these will work until I do. Our mantel needed to have a bit more “heft”, and this seemed like a good way to get that. They are super light-weight, obviously not made of real wood, but because they are painted, you can’t tell that. And with there being so light, they are pretty much trouble free to install.
