These don’t come with the screws yoh need to connect to your fence- 38” worked for us. The mesh can be a bit difficult to attach but when done- our escape artist is contained! Worth the money. The concept is great and would probably work well in warm climates, however, Canadian winters are not accounted for here. Snow builds up on top, and even with being mindful about shaking it off, our fence began to collapse. The bolts connecting the polls froze and actually snapped. Although Wayfair was great and sent replacement pieces, it was a pain to replace the whole polls as removing the bolt wasn’t an option. I have two huskies that are the best escape artists artists. I purchased two sets of these last year as the started to dig under their chain link dog pen. They work wonderful.
