Looks great in my space! Gave it five stars because I made it work for me but just an FYI—the lamp is a bit shorter than some other floor lamps. I had to elevate it on a 1 foot tall pedestal so that it wouldn’t be right on top of my head when sitting in my reading chair. I fortunately just had the pedestal in my house already. Which is fine, because it doesn’t show anyway. But that might be important for some of you to know.  Otherwise, the lamp is extremely easy to put together, it took me less than five minutes. Everything comes assembled and wired already. The double lampshades are high-quality materials. I used three Edison bulbs for the ambient yellow light. Truly solid lamp. The base is super heavy which is a huge plus with kids! The lamp also came with 3 trendy lightbulbs which is always a plus. Not a huge fan of the orangey light it permeates. This floor lamp is simple but still quite beautiful with its mix of brown wood with black metal. Assembly was a snap. I was hoping it would blend in with our floors and other wood items in our living room and it did not disappoint e cause it is in my opinion a walnut color. The lamp shade that comes with the floor lamp is beige in color so I’ll be trading it for a grey or even black shade as I will use it as decor, I love the two pull chains as it has two bulb sockets. Where it is now is not where I plan on putting it…I just have to take down Christmas decor to move it to its new home by our couch. The light as is, us beautiful... when it’s off. When turned on, even with a soft 40 watt, it’s distracting to look at the light because all you see is the light bulb. The shade is just open metal. For an extra 30 I ordered lamp shade material and spent under an hour measuring and cutting to make a lamp shade liner. I’ve including pictures with and without the liner.
