This is exactly what I was looking for to hide trash cans and protect the wall. The closed back keep the trash can lids from digging into the wall and making tiny gashes. The adjustable shelves are the true MVP of this product offering flexibility to adapt to how you need to use it. I wish the color was a shade lighter, but not a big problem.
