This charcoal smoker has been a lot of fun. I have used it a couple of times - once with charcoal only once with charcoal wood pellets. Both turned out really good. Would definitely recommend pairing it with a chimney starter to help get the charcoal going. The only “knock” I have on this smoker is that it’s a little putsy to put together.
