I love how it turned out, but the directions were pretty vague. We got it, and it looks great, but take your time and really look at the directions. There are very few words, and the pictures are not great, but the end result is worth it. Bought this for a standard small closet (54” x 93”). Because of the closet size, I could only use 2 of the 3 racks. It took me about 4 hours to put this together. I’m pleasantly surprised with the sturdiness of the tower and as other reviews mention, the trim really does finish the look. I agree the rod plates would be better if they were metal and not plastic. Pay close attention to the shaded edges in the pictures in the instruction book for the tower, you could easily overlook this important detail. This piece was exactly as advertised. The final measurements were exactly as they should be. It is a decent quality. The instructions were very good, but I wish they had said that there was no need to remove baseboards. Each section is in 2 pieces and the top overhangs the bottom at the back by at least 1/4" so the baseboards fit behind it fine. Make sure you pay attention to the circles that show how to align the pieces correctly. Some of the screws were flat rather than pointed, which made it difficult to alight them correctly in the pilot holes. Some of the pilot holes did not go through the laminate, which make it more difficult to start the screws. Overall I am very happy with the piece and it fit perfectly in my closet.. Laura. Missouri. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I loved the look of the ClosetMaid SuiteSymphony closet system. It is a very complete set and has the right amount space for hanging, shoe space, and drawer room for my partner and I. It looks and feels sturdy. The assembly took a bit longer than expected because the top board didn't fit but that was my fault because my measurement was off. It was an easy fix though because I was able to cut it. The other part I didn't consider is that I have a floor trim in my closet, so the closet would not sit flush to the wall. I had to cut into the trim to make the closet flush to the wall. Other than that, it's beautiful and looks great organized. It helps see everything I have and the drawers are a great addition. I didn't love the shoe space since it's not a big space for several shoes. I could do without this space and instead add additional drawers or boards. Last thing is I will need to install different doors for my closet since the drawers will not work with my sliding door. Great system! Lots of parts since I ordered 3 separate systems for my complete closet design. Since this was my first time installing this type of system it took me quite a while to get organized and confident in how easy it really is to assemble. The direction sheets are good but general since there are so many configuration choices making the system very customizable. The (3) systems were well packaged and all arrived on 1 heavy pallet ( 16 separate boxes I believe). Unfortunately the box labels were not clearly marked as to which boxes went with which system which made trying to inventory all the parts for each system impossible. However, the components used are the same so really didn’t matter as I ultimately had all the parts I needed to complete my layout. I did recieve two incorrect 8”drawer faces that were grey in color and different style then the white color I ordered. As you can see in the photos, I completed the assembly with them so we can use the system while I wait for the (2) correct replacement drawer fronts. Overall, I am very happy with the closet system and it’s a significant improvement over the former wire shelving previously installed.. Phil. Fri Nov 03 2023
