I wanted an office chair that didn't look like a traditional office chair -- something different. This chair is great for that purpose, but the seat isn't soft or comfortable. If it had more cushion, this would be a terrific chair. I'm also giving it lower stars because it was poorly packaged for shipping. I don't know how it made it without damage, but it did. The chair comes in one solid piece and all that's required is to attached the base. That was easy enough, but the wheels are very difficult to put on. The base is metal, but there's also a cheap plastic part that goes over it. Why not do it right and provide solid metal parts? I'm going to keep it, but I'm prepared to have to replace it fairly soon. My last office chair lasted me 10 years. I doubt this will last 2 years.
