This 1-light outdoor post mount lantern head, featuring a craftsman-inspired silhouette, is highlighted by a black metal frame, and contrasting frosted white shade. I love the fixture and it looks great. The best part is the translucent glass, which gives it a very nice look. The lamp is sturdy and the light bulb can be changed without removing the base. The wire with the fixture is long enough to easily connect to your existing pole wiring. The fixture came nicely packed with supplied wire nuts. The light is so pretty and the perfect touch of color that I needed over my kitchen sink. It came with plenty of cable to make it as long as you might need. The glass shade is not too big or too small. It was a fairly easy installation, but there was one problem. The base of the light that covers the plate where it hangs is not big enough. I was a little worried about getting these because they only had 1 Review…. But I got two for a Bunk Room I just designed at our lake house. The are ABSOLUTELY perfect! I love the nostalgic, gas lantern look to them. They were packaged incredibly well, a great size and sturdy … they are just adorable. I love that the metal plate over the light has tiny holes to let the light come though a little on the ceiling. In the picture on Wayfair the glass under the lantern looks white due to the white shiplap behind it … but it’s actually thick, clear glass. These are even better in person. I highly recommend these adorable lanterns And putting them on a Dimmer switch if you can. It’s so nice to be able to turn them up bright or really dim for a nice atmosphere.
