I bought 2 of these. The first one came with both legs broke off the bottom. Wayfair was great about shipping out a new one. I sent the pictures and there was no issue. The broken one went to the dump. The drawers are a little stiff and one you have to push hard to get it to shut properly. I’ve just let it sit out a tad as pictured. I’m going to blast them with some WD40 to see if it helps. Honestly at this price point I wish I had gone to a nice furniture store and spent and extra hundred or two hundred for something better. They are made in Vietnam and it’s cheapie charlie furniture but at $660 a pop. I’m hoping since my husband and I are gentle on our furniture that it will last us a little while. . I was able to put this together by myself, which was surprising to me. I took my time to not mess anything up so probably took about 5-6 hours but I would say anyone who is more confident could do it faster. VERY happy with the way it came out! We had read the reviews for this chest, believing one reviewer had over exaggerated their description of this chest to be so stunning that it looked like an antique French chest. That reviewer was absolutely correct. For this price point this is by far the most exceptional French chest. 100% perfection and a phenomenal deal for the price. This would be a beautiful piece if not for the fact that there were issues with the way it was packaged. The legs, packed in a box inside of the cabinet, became lodged in the top drawer, wedged so tightly in such a manner that it could not be shaken loose and the drawer could not be opened. The method of packaging the cabinet should be changed. The drawer was jammed shut with dislodged styrofoam and the box of legs were jammed tightly above the frame of the drawer. It was impossible to open it without some damage to the drawer occurring. Besides the above unfortunate occurrence, there was also a bit of damage that the cabinet came with, including a scratch on the top and a ding in the wood on the side. Damage to the front edges of the drawers occurred from trying to wedge the top drawer open far enough (millimeter by millimeter) in order to gouge the block of styrofoam out, bit by bit, so the legs would be free to drop down far enough that the drawer would open. It would have been a beautiful cabinet had not these problems occurred. The drawers are well-made. The top drawer is lined on the bottom. I am disappointed because of the unfortunate packaging and the damage. Advice for the furniture company I have had this happen once before with another company. Never pack anything into a top drawer! If you must pack it in a drawer, put it in the bottom drawer (if there is an open space between the drawers) so the top drawer can be removed and the contents in the bottom drawer revealed and adjusted so it can be opened..
